However, the decision paid off. I decided to go for it since it fit a lot of the aesthetic qualities I was looking for (mid century modern-type, neutral brown), fit my price point, and was needed fast.The chair has ended up being much nicer and stylish in person than expected, especially for the price point. The chair is about medium sized-- not incredibly high backed, but by no means short-- and could fit well in both smaller and larger living rooms. Sort of a goldilocks size. I am a 5'9" person ~ 140-150 pounds, and this chair is a perfect fit for me. It is not particularly wide, though, and I would imagine that it wouldn't be suitable for someone over 250 lbs or with a very wide body. But for the average person, it is very well sized.The design is also quite pleasing to the eye. I immediately received compliments on it. It's upholstered in a leather (or leather-like?) material that is both a beautiful color and has unexpected (though subtle) interesting texture/pattern to it. I have included photos but think that it looks much better in person. In general, it acts as a statement piece while simultaneously having a subtleness to it. It pulls my living room together very well.Craftsmanship is good; the chair looks to me like it cost more than it did. Importantly, it is also very comfortable. Straight out of the box, it has been the most comfortable living room chair that I own. I was surprised by this as I normally expect some time needed to break in. It naturally has a very slight recline to it as well, which aids in providing a comfortable position for one's back.Assembly was simple. The chair essentially came "whole"-- just needed to attach the metal bit on the bottom, which also came as a single whole piece.Overall conclusion: this was an unexpectedly great purchase that has ended up being a much better value than anticipated. Great design, great price point. Would purchase again. I have only had it for a month now and can't comment on how well it holds up over the long term with a lot of use, but I may provide updates later. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2019* I was a little hesitant about purchasing this chair since it had no reviews yet, but we love it! It was easy to assemble, and the upholstery is softer and more comfortable than I anticipated. I would say it's almost suede, but still looks like realistic leather. It is also super comfortable, we love the shape of the low back portion. Definitely a great buy for the price, especially compared to other leather and faux leather chairs which run $500+++. ### ⭐ Warning buyer beware *by J***G on Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2019* Please read for your own safety. This chair is toxic it causes ichy burning skin irrigation, irritates eyes, nose and throat resulting in a dry cough. Anything that came in contact with this chair had to be washed or wiped clean. Even after removing the chair from the house to air out (off gas) for a week. No luck, now I have an unsafe unusable chair double plastic wrapped in storage. The seat cushion if we can call it that is like and sounds like your sitting on hard styrofoam.
