Comfortable new favorites
Previously tried baggy shorts and didn't like them. The leg length was too short, the leg openings were too wide. This combination led to shorts getting hooked on nose of saddle every time I leaned way back off the bike during downhills. These 3/4 Hummvee's leg length is obviously very long, and the leg openings are narrow. This combination elliminates hooking the nose of the saddle. Plus the back of the short stays high on the waist (avoiding plumber's ... apprenticeship), and the liner/chamois fit great. I now have 4 pair of these (I ride a lot). One pair fit snug, but the other 3 are perfectly comfortable. When riding I honetsly forget these aren't just lycra. They're not noticble (i.e. no binding/pinching, no seem issues, no snagging, etc), which is the goal. The topper is that I've had my first pair over a year, and chamois shows no signs of wear. For comparision: I'd previously had 4 pair of Louis Garneau's. Shortest lasting chamois died after 1 week (assumed an outlier until ...), the longest lasting failing after 4 months (foam ripped/split, bunched-up).Hummvee's 3/4 are my favorite MTB shorts.

Comfortable 3/4 Pants
I love these pants. They are not too baggy, and they fit perfectly when wearing hips protections plus knee pads. Good quality materials.

2nd Mtn bike ride and these are great.
When I received these I tried them on first thing and the padded undershorts did not feel that comfortable at first even though the pants themselves fit good. I threw everything into the wash and washed them twice. On the first ride, I did not use the padded undershorts and just put my regular padded biking shorts under these pants, my padded bike shorts have a little thicker padding than these undershorts do. Today I did a 3hr + ride and 1/2 of the ride I was carrying a heavy backpack, I wore the padded undershorts that came with these pants on this ride but I also chose not to attach them to the outer pants, I feel leaving the padded undershorts separate and unattached to the outer pants creates more comfort and at this time I would not consider attaching them together. All and all even though the padding is on the thin or light side compared to my biking shorts I still was comfortable enough that I will keep using them on future rides. The undershorts were comfortable to wear during the entire ride and did not bunch up at all. Not sure if washing them made the difference but they sure fit well now. I am 5-8" with a 28" waist I ordered the small and they fit great. They come with a belt that I removed because of the elastic waist I would never use the belt. There are 3 zip-up pockets, 1 velcro pocket, 2 zip-up pant venting, and a velcro strap to tighten the fit below the knees. They fit perfectly over my knee pads and help keep them in place when tightening up the pant leg after it slides over the knee pads, there is a lot more to these pants design than meets the eye. Glad I purchased them.UPDATE:After lots of mtb rides and washing cycles I now mostly use the padded undershorts that came with these pants and I snap them to the outer pants. I find this is the best and most comfortable on long mtn bike rides. I do not use the belt that came with it at all and snapping the undershorts to the outer pants keeps everything in place no matter how aggressive the ride gets.

Seriously?
In need of a new pair of baggies i stumbled on these shorts, I think I searched for anything that has 5 stars. I liked what I saw design wise, amount of pockets, vents and all of the other 5 star reviews. The 99$was a bit more than what I wanted to pay but figured I could return them if I didn't like them. I won't be returning them. Super comfortable the fit great and look great. If your a size 32 waist get the large.

First Impressions: Awesome!
I have one other pair of Endura Baggy mountain bike cycling shorts that are above the knee. I wanted to get that covers the knees for when the temps are lower in the morning, and I don't want to wear long cycling pants. So far, the initial fit is wonderful and as expected....For the SHORTS themselves. The LINER is a COMPLETELY different matter....While they hugged my ass nicely, they DON'T fit...My thighs....!! While my thighs are manly and decently sized they are nothing compared to other cyclists who do a lot more miles than I do.However when I tried them on, the stitching looks like it would give out after a while. I suggest they drop the price AND the liner for any updated versions of these. In the meanwhile, just the quality of the shorts themselves makes it WORTH the money, based on the other Endura clothes that I have. As far as the liner goes, I would recommend purchasing these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P77FKML/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1They are lightweight, hug your body and FEEL great. Yes, you will spend more money, but the combination of these will OUTLAST any other similar shorts you might be wearing.

Waterproof, more like Water Armor
As a beginning "old legend" (lol) these are perfect. Waterproof isnt the word, they are basically water impenetrable. riding in Florida is treacherous, you start a ride during a beautiful sunny day and 30 minutes later your riding through gale force winds and tornadoes (lol). These shorts dry instantaneously essentially cutting out all the negativity of getting wet during a ride (ie, CHAFFING!!!!!) and the lesser pneumonia . This has opened up my window for riding tremendously here in SoFlo, as it rains just about every 30 seconds during the summer.

Protection from cold weather while on bike.
I live in the Adirondacks and the temperatures in the Fall get into the 40s. I needed long pants but not as restrictive as rain pants or tights. These nicely made 3/4 baggy pants work perfectly. I was out this morning with wind and 45 degree air, and was very comfortable. I also think I looked good. So I am very pleased and wish I had gotten this style of pants long ago.
