Perfect for Harley touring bike

Its expensive but I'm sure it will last quite awhile. Very stout tire.

On a FLHTCU
I mounted it my self using a tire changer from harbor freight with the motorcycle changer attachment. Tire is very stiff compared to the front so it was hard to squash the bead into the center channel of the rim so sidewall construction seems to be good. Good in the turns. Sometimes to good. I can touch my floorboards to the pavement. The only slippage I have experienced is on a turn when crossing a wet large white line. I had a set of Metzeler tires and even though they did last a little longer the front/rear ABS activated allot. Metzeler tires also felt like they got a little loose/wobbly on the front/rear when they got hot. I don't have that problem with the D402's. Might want to note I'm running a D404 rear tire I bought for my suzuki marauder on the front because I ordered the wrong size front. Apparently Harley Davidson lists one 18 in tire that fits a FLHTCU. All others tires listed are 16 in.. Turns out I should have purchased the 16 in.. Still handles nice.

Quality tire at a Great Price
Great price on an excellent tire (this is the second time we have purchased these). Shipping was quick. I paid a local shop to put them on and saved over $100 by ordering the tires myself.
