Good inexpensive option
I’ve had this belt for a few days under a year at this point. I was coming to give an update and saw that I never actually reviewed it so here we go. Just about a year later and this belt still provides as much support as it did in the beginning. The suede is slightly lighter on the outside. Not as black as it once was. Not a problem though. The lever is still functional and shows no signs of degraded performance. All of the stitches are still in perfect order. No separating of the materials or anything. Aside from the slight “fading” the belt is in comparable condition to when I got it. As far as use it provided great support. That’s why I stuck with it so long. My only complaint after the fact is that in my opinion the belt sizing covers a bit too much range and the first hole doesn’t start until about 4 inches in so you can end up with quite a bit of excess belt left over if you’re on the low end of the belt range. If I were doing it again I’d order a size down. That’s my main complaint. This belt required me to adjust the excess which would often get caught on my shirt when securing the lever. I ended up getting the belt I initially wanted (arrived today) which is a lot more expensive but a true medium and only covers a 3 inch range. It’s night and day already in that regard. This is a great belt but again order a size down if you’re on the low end of the size range and to hawk sports. I’d look into the sizing. Having the first hole start so far in is not good.

Inexpensive Quality
I decided to go with this Hawk belt vs an Inzer lever belt. Too early to tell if it will stand the test of time, but first impressions are pretty good. Looks almost identical to the Inzer, at 1/3 the price. Quality wise, I’d say is great for the price. Leather feels solid. Was very stiff initially, but watch some YouTube videos on how to break in your belt. Buckle is heavy and seems sturdy. Latches easily, unlike reading some complaints on the Inzer being hard to latch because of the small holes. Company states buckle also comes with a lifetime replacement in case of breakage, which is good to know. Only thing was the buckle had some sharp edges which I just took a file to smooth out. Easy fix. Stitching probably isn’t as nice as an Inzer, but at $30 who cares? I’m a size 32 waist and went with the medium size belt. As shown in the pics, still has a little more room to go tighter, but also has lots of room to go bigger, as I’m planning on bulking. Overall it’s a great belt for the price point, compared to an Inzer. If you are a competitive powerlifter, I would splurge for the Inzer. If you are like me and just lift for overall strength (squats, deadlifts, etc) then I think this Hawk belt would work just fine.

Solid Belt with Minor Clasp Issues
The Hawk Sports Weightlifting Belt is overall a solid piece of gym gear. The quality feels decent and durable enough for regular lifting sessions, and it provides good support when performing heavier lifts like squats and deadlifts. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the clasp can get stuck sometimes, which can be a little frustrating when you’re trying to quickly adjust or remove the belt between sets. That said, it still does what it’s supposed to do, it offers stability and helps maintain proper form during lifts. Overall, it’s a good belt for the price and a reliable option for anyone looking for basic lifting support with just a small inconvenience to keep in mind.

Very supportive
This weight belt is leaps and bounds ahead of my previous belt. The material is thick and durable, but fairly comfortable. The belt is very easy to assemble (two screws that you can take out and move to adjust the tightness) and very easy to lever on/off. This is great when for when I finish a set of hard squats and need to gulp air for my life. The belt also just "feels good" like the perceived quality to me is quite high. The lever/buckle is surprisingly heavy, all solid steel and the belt material is very sturdy. It just feels like the sort of thing I will never even put a scratch on and can use for years.

Very good belt
The belt gives good support when I go heavy. To loosen, just flip the lever and you can “breathe” again. Easy. 🙂

Look like a professional with this nice looking, super sturdy weight lifting belt!
This is a high quality belt! Great value and was easy to custom fit. I have got into powerlifting, so much so that I think I may do a meet early next year. This belt is perfect for the heavy lifts for deadlifts and back squats. I added 20 lbs to back squat and 40 to deadlifts with this belt giving me confidence of it’s sturdiness. Clasp is not as easy on and off as I’d like but I suspect that is because it needs to be broken in a little. I’d you like lifting heavy, this is your belt.

Buy a better belt
Thought I’d try this because it’s much cheaper than brands like inzer, SBD, and gym reapers, and the quality shows. The belt isn’t nearly as stiff as a name brand 10mm belt and the material doesn’t feel like it would hold up for someone lifting often and heavy enough to actually need a belt. The manufacturers packaging was ripped to shreds and was missing the lever mounting hardware making the belt unusable. Save yourself the headache and buy a name brand belt.

The lever broke after only a year of use.The sellers are not contacting nor replying. Total waste of money.

Good value for money
Good quality and would definitely recommend! Don't fall into buying one of those that go beyond $100. This will do you just fine.
