Very sharp - I cut my finger just handling these blades as they can be akward to handle. I recommend using gloves when handling the blades by themselves. (Im a DIY junkie and this was my forst time replacing these blades) Installation was more involved than I thought it would be but if you have any basic mechanical knowledge its not too bad. If you can get a 31 on the ASVAB you should be alright. There are about 50 of these tiny metal pins that act as a bearing inside the gear housing. During reassembly the tool fell off my bench and these tiny, grease packed pins went everywhere. I found all but 1 and reassembled the tool. It works as it should. But I digress... These replacement blades are more affordable then the OEM Stihl replacement blades and do seem to have more flex in them but not so much as to indicate poor quality of materials.
