Great for big niche
This worked really well in a bath niche that was bigger. I wanted one that I could set candles on.We tiled This and it was easy to use. The price is also good. It fits into shower and not too thick or thin. Makes appearance of the shower or bath niche pretty

Equal to More Expensive Products
It is equal to others we found locally and less expensive. I don’t know why they want to grade adhesion. Same surface as any other plastic one on the market. The recommended adhesive works just fine. Three stars for ease of installation because NO instructions at all. Other products have complete instructions which an amateur like me needs. I went to a tile store for installation and tile mounting instructions. Other than that, very good product!

Sturdy and easy to install but instructions incorrect, needs to be installed OVER cement board
The instructions for this niche call for it to be screwed down to the studs and the cement board installed over it but that doesn't make sense. Any water that gets into the niche (through grout etc) will just flow in the gap between the niche and the cement board.The cement board needs to be cut to the niche's dimensions, screwed to the studs, and the niche installed so that it's flanges go OVER the cement board. That way any water that gets into the niche will go on the cement board's surface and wick away and dry out.Other than that it is a great niche, the 17" dimension was perfect for a tall shampoo dispenser and there's enough along the 25" dimension for multiple soap containers.

No hidden surprises!
I have built literally thousands of custom showers and when I used this insert I found it was true to the measurement and had No hidden build out tabs that make installation a pain. Instructions could be more precise. If I had to say one major negative about the insert, the top of the insert should NOT be sloped. This creates installation issues. Only the bottom shelf should have the slope. It’s not only this brand, I have found all brands to be this way. This could be an excellent opportunity Uni-Green to rise aboveThe competition!!!!!!
