Zippo Lighter Toffee

First, a small beef: the clear, lacquer coating on this gorgeous little monster doesn't do it any favors. I'm sure it's intended to extend longevity and/or protect the finish, but it would be even nicer if it had a brushed, "real" texture instead of this clear coat, which gives it an undeserved cheap feel. Otherwise, it's a zippo, through and through. Good to see that at least some great brands of old haven't neglected quality or sought to cut costs, turn out junk, and rely on their famous name to keep sales alive.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. He carries it in his pocket and uses it daily. Be careful not to overfill the lighter fluid though! He got a bit of a chemical burn on his leg (user error). It's a great color and works great.

Have a Zippo case to place this Zippo and attach to my belts. Looks and works fine. Would make a good gift too.

I had hoped this was a variation on my high-polish toffee lighter (similar to Meadow Green or Candy Apple in nature) but it is the same. It's still a nice lighter but "brushed finish" doesn't quite describe it.
