Ours fell apart before we could use it. If you look at the reviews you'll see that there are an awful lot of one star ratings. The joins taper inwards towards the end of the pipe, so that its bound to fall apart anyway! You wouldn't even be able to glue it together, as the joint material is so soft and the pipe is very hard and inflexible. Please look elsewhere, as this pump is USELESS! **Q: It says that it has a filter to stop water bring sucked out... How does that work if the water particles are smaller then tue fish waste?** A: It's a plastic grid thin gravel will travel up or even size of small snail, it's good if need to cover 4ft tank and do quick water change 2ith quick gravel clean does have steady flow but doesn't like small thin gravel ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A bit confusing but a good product and great value *by S***R on 24 April 2021* This arrived loose in the amazon box with no instructions or label. It was in pieces which was difficult to fit together, for a while I thought it was broken and that it was no good for sand.Once I finally worked out what to do, it was great. I've got the hang of it now and it is vaccuming up the algae and excess food, no problem. It does also vaccum up sand if held too close, but I just swirl that at bottom of bucket and pour it back in when it's dried out.Good value. ### ⭐ Falls to pieces *by M***E on 16 September 2021* Although the theme of it is excellent. It is manufactured poorly. Keeps falling apart whilst in use. I brought some jubilee clips, and that has now solved the issue of it leaking everywhere.
