I ordered this first in the 5 x 7 size for a bedroom as an accent rug. It worked perfectly with light yellow walls, white and gray curtains, taupe comforter. It added so much interest to the room. Beware! It has way more ivory than the photo shows. I ended up ordering the 8 x 10 for my guest room. The rug is very tightly woven and high quality. It does not require any padding underneath it. I have wood floors and just have the anti slip tape on the backside of it to make sure it does not move. Most carpet that are placed on tile, wood floors etc are going to slide a bit. However, this carpet does not slide so much that it's a hazard. My family and I love to lay on it and before we know it we are asleep, lol.
