I love the fact that this rug uses very fine yarn as opposed to the standard shag rugs, which resembles something that should remain in a bathroom or the 70s. This, however, has an incredible look that will complement a modern living room or bedroom. The yarn used allows the rug to take on a texture that resembles an exotic fur. The only downside (or difference?) from the standard shag rugs is that it lacks the plushness that you would experience from the Safavieh Venice or South Beach. Even though this rug has a silky feel, it does not shield your bare feet from a hard floor. A thick rug pad is a must if you want something more foot-friendly. Overall, an awesome rug. Five stars.

Everyone comments on this rug, and some guests immediately lay down on the floor and try to make snow angels. It's soft and luscious, and makes a statement in the room without overpowering anything. I do not like rugs with prints, but a solid rug is so plain, this just jazzes up the whole look. I read reviews that it is thin, and it is, but no issue at all with a 3/8" pad underneath for $50 here on amazon. Feels great underfoot. We bought the Silver, and I agonized over which tone to choose between Silver, Sable, and Titanium. Our sofa is a solid grey, fairly dark. The silver rug is a positively medium grey and silver tone, obviously it has 2 tones depending on the direction the shag lays, and one is light to medium silvery shimmery grey, the other a slightly darker grey. I'm happy with the color. The rug does not look cheap. We've had it over 4 months, no shedding, no odd wearing.

I bought the gray color and it is dark gray when brushed in one direction. It is very easy to vacuum with a brush attachment. It is pretty thin though so I recommend a rug pad for comfort.

So far I Love it. It arrived yesterday. It feels as good as they said it would. Very luxurious. My only issue is that it doesn't have much of a padded feel under it.

The rug is soft, but thinner then I anticipated. Very low padding.

Seriously just buy it! I ordered the 8 x 10ft Silver ( I noticed a lot of other reviews never said what color they bought and pictures can be kinda hard to go by) I absolutely love it! It's plush and silky and super soft on your feet, you'll even want to lay down on it. It layed nearly completely flat just after unrolling it, and for edges that did stick up I just rolled them the other way and held them for only a few seconds and they layed flat after that! The silver contrasts really nice against my biege carpet underneath too. I love the way that light shines differently on it depending on the angle. I took quite a few photos to show what it looks like in different lighting conditions.

When it first came in it was very soft, nice and fluffy. But after a few months it gets tangled up and so hard to clean. When you walk on it it feels like some of the rug is stuck together in a little ball so it’s no pleasing on the feet. I would definitely not recommend to buy! Save you’re money. Not worth it.
