I had an awful time rug shopping online while redecorating my master but Amazons return policy rocks so I gave this a go. It is so hard to find true ivory but this is it and reflects a sheen Depending on how light hits it as you can see from the first pic. It is a very nice quality rug for the price you pay. I don't know about other reviewers but I had no issue. It is not as plush as it appears (I thought it looked like faux fur in the pic) it is a true shag, more stringy fibers than fluff so that's just preference. Between quality size and price I'm glad a gave Safavieh a try after searching all over the internet. I ended up with 3 more rugs from them throughout my house and all have been beautiful in looks and quality.

Just buy it if it’s the look you’re going for, is it pricey? ... yes... is it worth it? absolutely... if you have the money it is beautiful. This is my first day having it cannot comment on cleaning but it’s super soft, shiny, and luxurious! It’s definitely a quality rug very heavy.

I order lots of things from Amazon and I’m somewhat lax about writing reviews but this rug is so extraordinary I must share it . I was hesitant to order a rug just because you can never be sure of the color and if it’s going to “fit” in your home .But this rug far exceeded my expectations . This rug is gorgeous .. it is Hollywood glamorous . The ivory color glows with just the slightest hint of champagne golden I wish I could describe how beautiful it is . I have never had a rug that was so beautiful . Now it’s a shag long haired and it sheds just a little but after a few vacuums that lessens and . I would not recommend this color if you have toddlers or young children .. it’s the kind of rug that shouldn’t be inhabited by men in work boots or Toddlers /children eating on This color makes you want to take off your shoes before stepping on it . We take off our shoes inside so it’s ok . But aside from that , if you”re looking for glamorous it’s every bit of that .

Overall the rug is okay for the price, if you compare it to other $600-$700 rugs. However, it has extremely thin padding, to the point where you can feel the weave beneath the strands on your bare feet. Furthermore, the biggest downside I see is the extreme chemical smell it has to it. It is so overpowering that I must leave the windows open in the room. Since this is for my baby's nursery, if the smell doesn't go away soon, I will return before the baby is born. I seriously can't believe the smell is so strong; it's mind boggling, it almost feels harmful and hazardous to the human body.

I bought one for my bedroom and one for my living room. I agonized over Paris shag, Venice shag, or Luxe shag, but in the end chose this one because it was the only one available in both the size and color that I wanted. I got Ivory, which is a true Ivory. It almost looks two-toned, depending on the light, like cream+champagne. It is so soft and silky and luxurious and feels great under bare feet. I feel like a princess, and so does my dog who can't stay off it. Even my husband made several positive comments about the rug, which surprised me. The new-carpet smell was barely noticeable to me, and I really only noticed it at night when I had all the windows closed. I put a Veken extra thick rug gripper pad under it, and it works great to keep the rug from slipping on my hardwood floors, and I don't feel any little knots under my feet like someone else mentioned. I am thrilled with this purchase and they way it elevated my decor!

I would like to start but saying that this rug is pretty. But honestly, the material that it is made from is no where near as dense as it looks in the pictures. It is super slippery to walk on so it would not be good in high traffic areas. Also, it is super thin so I added a 1/2 inch carpet pad under it. Overall disappointment for the price.

LOVE THIS RUG!!!!!!!!!! I purchased this rug when I moved to a new condo. It is the perfect price point, and looks like a SUPER expensive rug in person. I am so pleased. I also love that its not stark white, but a more muted white (more of a cream)! So happy I decided on this rug! The only reason I give it 4 stars is the shipping. It was 2 day shipping and never showed up, then I got a notification that it was delayed and it came a week later.

Imagine running your toes through a big patch of Barbie doll hair. That’s what this rug feels like. Its very acrylic feeling. It’s listed as “ivory” but it is closer to white with a distinctly pinkish undertone. The pile is soft, long & shaggy but it is definitely not “thick” or “good for high traffic areas” as described. It is very shiny, almost reflective. And finally it is dangerously slippery (for my situation). For aesthetic and safety reasons I had to return.
