A simple way to check the sag on your motorcycle.
Very simple to use and allows you to do the complex task of setting the sag, (or checking it), on your bike by yourself instead of needing two people. Works as advertised.

Easy to use, but really wants a hollow rear axel to clamp to
I've made my own from a retractable badge holder, but this is nicer. There are three tricks to this. One is that you need to mark a radius from your swing arm pivot to your axle and then "draw" an arc to where that meets a fender or side cover. Make a small mark with a perm pen. That's where you'll clamp the cable after securing the larger piece to the axle. Two is you need to get the rear wheel in the air to measure the free sag. Third, is you need to know the rear suspension travel for that bike. You want set it up and "zero it" with the rear suspended. Put the bike back on the ground and then sit on it fully kitted up and upright and just barely touching the ground. Then carefully get off, and raise the bike back up. The distance between the brass marker and the base is the race sag. Roughly, that should be about 1/3 of your total rear suspension travel unless your bike specifies something else. Your bike specs should tell you the total travel. In my case the travel was 220mm and the target was around 75mm of sag. The mfg of my shock said to go a bit higher to 85ish, but you get the picture.

It was very hard to find a spot to mount the bigger end.
Every place I tried to mount this thing on the swingarm, the clamp was either too small or too big. In the end I had to find something to put in between the edge of the swingarm and the surface of the part to get it to clamp on. On the small end I was able to clamp it to some body work, which wasn’t hard but it was reaching the extent of the cable. On the front end I could mount it on the axle without issue but I had to grab onto the lower brace between the fork tubes because the cable length would not reach any higher. It does the job, with some fiddling. I’m trying some other ways to see if I can make it quicker/easier in the future. I’m using this on my Husqvarna Norden Expedition and really just want to be able to adjust between fully loaded for travel, 2 up, and stripped down for day rides or commuting. Yes, it’s being ridden on fire roads, jeep trails, and OHV roads, as well as streets and highways.

works but not easily
doesnt fit well on any of my bikes i had to figure out ways to make it mount on the bike. the slider thing doesnt always slide so you have to watch to make sure. it also falls off alot. for 40 bucks i think it should work better. a tape measure, duct tape and bailing wire works just as good, and much cheaper.

You need this!
This tool is absolutely fantastic. It makes checking your sag by yourself super easy. The packaging has a ruler printed on it to make the process that much easier. I should have bought this months ago!

Worked on rear, not on front
A handy way for one person to measure sag. On my Suzuki DR650 this worked well to measure rear wheel travel, but I couldn't find a way to attach it to the lower portion of my forks to measure front wheel travel. Nothing to clamp onto there.

Super handy and easy!
Great product to assist in single handing setting sag. I am always adjusting preload to suit the ride - this takes all of 30 seconds to install and to use. Would recommend!

Zeta sag checker tool
I liked the idea of being able to check the sag by myself without help but the item does pose some challenges . The base would not stay connected to my axel & swingarm so I finally zip tied it in place. However I did finally get things working to my satisfaction & got the sag adjusted to my satisfaction.
