Special Effects Hair Dye -Hot Lava #3

best hair dye ever. hands down. Especially for those of you who want bright red hair, this is the product for you. It's semi permanent so yes , when you shower it's going to get everywhere, but that's not the dye's fault. The color is bright and so beautiful. it does get everywhere if your hair is wet, so be very careful. this color actually doesn't last as long as Nuclear Red. After about 2 weeks or so the color goes from red to light orange. So a tip for you guys, mix this color with Nuclear Red and the color will stay on a lot longer.

I love this color.... of course, I love Special Effects Hair Dye in general. It is easy to use, lasts longer than a lot of "fun color" hair dyes and well, it just does the job! I do wish that they could keep up with their supply and demand problem... scrounging around to find a color you want is getting a little bit old.

This was not the color I wanted at all. I wanted red, but not insane red so I went with this. I thought it was going to be a darker red (like "hot lava"), but it's kind of a rusty brown ugly color...Typically I LOVE this brand. The color stays in for a long time and it's bright and fun, this color, however, is just ugly. Definitely not getting it again.

I've been trying to get bright red hair so I gave this a shot to see what'd it'd do , my hairs red .. But not the red I expected from this product ; so if you want dark almost whine red this is for you .

I have been searching for the perfect balance between red and orange, and this is it! This is, hands down, my favorite semi-permanent shade now! The results have brought me tons of compliments! It's like the color of sriracha sauce! Love it.
