I love these sheets!
I had purchased these same sheets approximately 9 years ago and I LOVED them so much! I understand that everyone has a different ida of what the perfect sheets are. And there are some pros & cons. The first sets I bought lasted a long time even with weekly washing in hot water & bleach. They became softer after each wash! The fabric is cotton with a 400 thread count. They sleep fairly cool which for me is a must! The corners are deep enough for my 12” mattress with room to spare! This set has elastic all around the edges which the previous ones did not. I haven’t actually tried them yet but will update after use. Being cotton they DO wrinkle a lot. Wrinkles don’t bother me but I know that others have a problem. The pillowcases are also a little different from the previous sets. Those had one side of the hem that wrapped up and around the end of the pillow that sort of held the case on. These are hemmed on both sides. I don’t think it’s a problem. At any rate, I’m happy overall as the fabric is soft, cool and fits the bed nicely. I’m expecting them to soften more as they are used!!I would not recommend if you want warmer sheets or instant softness. You might want microfiber or some with a little polyester mixed with cotton. However I think these are awesome for me!

Love these sheets
I found these sheets to sleep much cooler than whatever I was using before. I keep a spare set stored away.

Extremely disappointed
In the past I have relied upon previous purchaser reviews to assist in my decision to buy an item, and I carefully read every review for this set of 400 thread count white twin XL sheets. I usually give little weight to laundering irregularities and "feel" of textiles, because that is very subjective - except shrinkage, of course. So I went ahead with this purchase thinking I would at the very least be getting sheets in a substantial enough fabric - 400 thread count, white is white, so no problem there (I thought), and I am not averse to trimming a few loose threads. Price was decent, because XL twin sheets that are not "dorm-like" are impossible to buy in my small town. When I opened the package I was immediately struck by the difference in color tone of the 3 pieces. The pillowcase was almost pinkish - and felt very thin to me, like a well-used vintage hankie. So I felt the flat sheet, and thought, all right - this is better. Firmly woven, not see-through, nicely finished. Soft white color, but different than the pillowcase. The fitted sheet was the same soft white, but the fabric was entirely different from the flat sheet - thin like the pillowcase. It's as if someone went through the bargain bin and picked out a pillowcase, flat sheet, and bottom sheet from different piles, then packaged them together as a "set". This is not what I expect when I buy a set of sheets, from anywhere, at any price.Only because I needed these sheets for a guest the next day did I put them in the wash, front load, delicate cycle, warm water, no bleach, average fabric softener, no other items in the load. (I wash a lot of sheets - I own a bed and breakfast - so I know what I'm doing!). Dried on low. Result: sheets came out quite wrinkled, but expected that because they are cotton. The fabric itself is what I would describe as "micro-crinkled" - not smooth feeling like sheets should be. I iron all of our pillowcases for the guest beds, so I ironed this one, also. It's so thin! If this pillowcase and fitted sheet are 400 thread count, I'd like to talk to the person counting the threads. The flat sheet feels like it could be 400 thread count by the weight of the fabric, but the side hems rolled over twice upon themselves during drying. Only way to fix this is to iron them flat. Too high maintenance. Not one of my other sets of sheets (I have twelve sets from other sources, from 400 to 800 thread count, all cotton) has had a problem with rolling hems. I have been a seamstress for over 40 years, and have handled lots of fabrics. The pillowcase and fitted sheet are one weave (looks like twill) and the flat sheet appears to be more like a percale, but not as crisp. These sheets are not even of the same type of fabric - they just do not match at all! And everyone knows that the bottom sheet wears out first. I'd give this flimsy one 3 months. Not happy.Even if I had paid only $30 for this set of sheets, I would still feel like I had gotten an inferior set of sheets. As it is, I feel cheated for paying almost $60. I have 800 thread count herringbone weave queen sheets that cost only $60 - and after a year of heavy use (very frequent washing, often with bleach) they still look beautiful. I do not recommend the Pointehaven 400 TC Deep pocket 100 percent Pima Cotton sheets at all if you're particular about your bed linens. These do not live up to even my least expectations. I wish I could return them, but probably can't since they've been washed. Live and learn.

Not actually 20" deep
After much confusion, I realize that these sheets are NOT 20" deep in the pockets. They barely squeeze over the corners of my 18 inch mattress and pop-up super-easily. I've gotten and returned 4 sets of these and just got another 2 and ... same thing. The seams on the corners measure 14". To fit a 20" mattress, they need to be 22". The standard is 2" thicker than the mattress. Very disappointed..

Super soft once washed
I have bought multiple sets of these sheets, in different colors, and I love them. Was worried initially when pulling out of the package as they felt a bit rough, like they had been starched. But once washed, they were exactly what I had hoped they were. The are a bit thin, so longevity is not there, but at this price point, I didn't mind.

Great Buy
The sheets arrived promptly and were actually much nicer than anticipated. I washed them before putting on the bed and was impressed with how nicely they came out of dryer. I'm not sure how high a mattress they would fit but the elastic seems very good. The mattress I put them on is only about 9 inches. There was room for a taller mattress but the elastic was strong enough to make it fit smoothly on the 9 inch mattress. The sheets are very comfortable.

Really Worth It
I have a two-floor condo unit with an open floor plan. I have central air conditioning, but since heat rises, the master bedroom is always hotter than downstairs. I have an older pet who is sensitive to the heat. I tried fans, but she can't stand the noise or vibration they make. I bought this unit as a last resort. It works wonderfully and she doesn't mind it being on. I turn on the AC to quickly cool the area down and then turn the fan to high and it keeps it wonderfully cool. During the last heat spell with seven days of 90+degrees heat, she slept on the bottom of the bed with her stomach turned towards the portable AC unit. Thank God I had it as a backup when my central AC outside unit totally died this weekend. It allowed me to keep her comfortable and not get sick from the heat, and me to get a decent night's sleep. Well worth the money I paid for it.

They're soooooo soft!!!
These sheets started out soft and they've only gotten softer as I care for them. Seriously, they are so incredibly soft!!! I've had them for a month or so now and I wash them once a week. They aren't pilling, the colour hasn't faded, and the sheen remains bright. Would totally recommend them for anyone, especially if you have sensitive skin. I will definitely be buying another set.

Great sheets
I bought the plum colour and they fit well with my decor. They are super soft. Arrived early. Pima cotton is great! Best cotton sheets I’ve had in a long time. And they only get softer the more they are washed. I will definitely be getting another set.
