Asuka Lychees in light syrup 20oz, 2 Pack

I love lychees and can't get fresh ones in Arizona. These canned lychees are as close to fresh tasting as any I've tried. I would highly recommend them.

Lychees are a very tasty Chinese fruit / onerarely sees canned lychees in the US marketplace / I got this 20 oz, 2 pack / they arevery good / I consumed 1 can in one sitting /very comparable to canned grapefruit slices in extra light syrup from Del Monte which one can find in supermarkets / but, at$5.61 a can, they are quite expensive / I would not consume them regularly / theDel Monte canned grapefruit slices are muchcheaper, at about $2.50 a can / I can consume [that] regularly] /

I use them for lychee martinis! Perfect b/c the juice not too sweet; makes a nice drink mixed with vodka. Put a lychee or 2 on a toothpick and makes for a fancy drink.

Update: I am raising my review based on the customer support I received. They were able to compensate me for the damaged products and have received better cans.Product came dented fairly bad. I should have heeded other peoples warnings. 1 can is dented but usable, the other is, imho, unusable.

Loved them! Biased coz I was craving them. As a kid I would eat them fresh, torn from the branches during peak season but since you don't get them in the US, I had to settle for these.

For the most part, they are as described, however; they arrived in dented cans but still edible. I would have given five stars if the cans were not dented. I use these in smoothies. Would like to order again but will be considering ordering from other vendors who handle their products with more care.

Dented cans, mushy, unappetizing lychees with the center kernel' s skin still in it. You're really better off going to your local Asian grocery store.

I was surprised at how good these were. I wasn’t sure how good canned lychees would be and these are great! I've used them in a few Indian recipes. I Absolutely will be buying these again! It’s really hard to find fresh lychees anywhere near us, so it’s great that I have this option. I recommend trying them.
