Easy tent to set up!
Great tent. I believe we bought the 6 person tent. Easy set up, roomy, quality build all things considered. Highly recommend due to sturdy construction, easy to clean, very room for 3, and yes, 6 could squeeze in! lol

I hope to have this tent for years!
--Initial setup without fly took my wife and I 45 seconds without staking it down (additional 1 minute to open zipper, go inside and install flap and hanging pockets). --Initial teardown was the fastest packup I've ever done with any tent. It is also of note that they have modified the tent bag with a wrap around zipped expansion to make storing it easier. I found that this was not necessary and had it packed back in the bag without the expansion open in under 5 minutes (I did not stake it down). I'm not a Tetris champion so most should be able to accomplish this same task relatively easily. I am very pleased at the product we've received at the price point. It is by no means a small tent when packed but it never was intended to be and the bag is very nice. I cannot yet comment on the waterproofing but the view out the top of the tent without the fly is exceptional, stargazing at its finest. The amount of pockets hanging above and on the inner side of the tent is substantial as well (I haven't put much in them to see its effect on the structure of the tent). I also believe this will do very well against the wind when properly staked. The stakes are very basic but I purchased some of the lightweight shaped aluminum ones available on amazon because they're so much better than anything included with any tent. -The zipper did get caught during my initial close test, but it is a heavier zipper than some of the others I've seen and with a two handed approach is very manageable. The air vents at the base of two opposite ends of the tent are very large, might be problematic if you are doing cold weather camping, but should be nice for this California stuff. Overall, it was very quick to set-up and tear-down. It has all the features we could want, and i noticed no defects on my initial inspection. Includes a floor patch kit about the size of a small tablet.

Nice and spacious easy to set up !!
This is a very spacious tent it's a 6 person tent. I would say it will accommodate 3 people comfortable with gear. I was able to fit a queen air mattress a small table and a fan. We tested it out and it rained and water got in around the corners of the tent and threw the seams of the air vents and the door seams for the most part it stays dry. It's very roomy I'm 5' 7" and I had good head room when I stood up. As for the the door zipper it easy to open the only problem is it gets caught on the exterior flap around the bottom of the door its not to bad just use other hand to lift up and unzip it . Overall it's a nice tent caint wait to take it out camping.

Fantastic tent !
This tent is FANTASTIC! I camp alone or with one other person and there's plenty of space in here for a full size air mattress, clothes, gear, could put a couple chairs in here and a small table, it's a lot of room for 2 people. I also appreciated the 6' ceiling and being able to stand up straight inside. This tent has so much ventilation as well, windows on either end and two windows on the front side including the door. Plus the entire top is mesh if you leave the rain fly off. Then something i'd never had in a tent before, floor vents. If you go someplace where there's a little bit of a breeze, air should flow through this tent pretty well. Unfortunately where I was camping my first day out, there was very little wind. Putting the tent up is easy, it is really as fast as advertised once you have some practice. Then there's around 12 pegs, four for the legs, four for the rainfly and then 3 or 4 more for the ground vents and the door. So it's pretty well pegged down when you're finished with them, it seems like it should handle wind pretty well. I've had a tent with a ceiling mounted shelf before and this had one too. But this one also has a mesh gear catcher across the back wall of the tent which is real handy for stuff. I put my 7" tablet in one and laid on the bed and watched a movie while going to sleep. Also stashed my phone, keys, wallet and bottle of water. I never knew i needed one of these until I had one lol. The only two negatives I have to say are this. First the door zippers drove me nuts, the curve of the upper right corner of the door with the zipper was difficult to navigate. I would say the zipper door on this tent is the most difficult to use i've ever had to deal with. Now possibly messing with the pegs you can change the pressures and find a happy place but it was just an annoyance all weekend. The second somewhat negative is while the setup instructions are great, you're left on your own to figure out how to break it down and CORE has no videos on the topic. I ended up watching a Coleman insta-up breakdown video to figure out how to pack up my CORE tent. The company should have its own videos, i mean how hard is it to film and put something on youtube these days, it's a no brainer Core.

Enough room for queen air mattress and your stuff!
Fits queen size tall air mattress with about 4 feet to spare on the side. There is only about a foot at the end of space. There is no way two queen size mattresses would fit, but if they were only a couple inches tall it may work. I am 5’9” and my head just skims the top, so I don’t believe it’s truly 72” tall. I am still able to move around and could change. It’s just me and my two dogs so the size will work perfect. I set it up by myself in under 5 minutes, and take down was just as easy. Putting the tent back in the bag was a little bit harder but I forgot to use the straps they had to keep it all tight together but overall easy. As many others have said, put the rain fly on before you extend the post legs and don’t stake down the 4 corners until the rainfly is fully connected. If you do those few tips, it takes 5 mins to set up. I cannot attest to its waterproofing capability or long term use. But overall for a quick set up and decent size, it’s good for the price!

Holds Up Great!
Great tent! Easy to put up. Held up in the wind overnight and stayed dry inside during a thunderstorm that popped up the next day.

EASE, EASE, and more EASE
Growing up in the 80s and 90s, I was never crazy about camping of which a big part was the tent set up and dismantle. Probably why I haven’t camped since then until now when I took my 2 sons for their camping trip this year (20+ yrs since I last camped). This tent design is brilliant. It literally takes 1-2 min to pop the tent up and under 5 min to take down and put away. No extra parts/poles other than the stakes. Really made my camping trip so enjoyable and the boys got to experience their first camping trip! Material is solid. It rained the morning we were leaving and was completely dry. If if there was one thing I would do differently is make a bigger tent bag. The tent has to be folded to perfection along with the top in order to fit it all in - no room for error. Not a deal breaker- I just threw the top in a garbage bag but that would be the one I would change- give the bag plenty of room to store the tent and its accessories with room to spare. Big fan of this tent and highly recommend to those looking for an easy to set up tent on their camping trips.

Leaks water, holes in floor after one use, bad zippers
Pros: Tent is easy to set up; took me <5 minutes including attaching rainfly and stakes. It did fit against the tailgate of my Subaru, thus took up surprising little room for its size. Cons: A tent should keep you DRY. Its floor should be robust. You should be able easily upzip doors and windows. The poorly trimmed zippers (see photo) mean the door/window panels get stuck. I have used this tent ONCE, on a groomed campsite - meaning the ground was flat with NO sticks. I went out hiking all day. It drizzled/light rain on and off all day. When I returned, there was considerable water in the tent. Surprisingly, there was a pool of water in the seat of my camp chair - the one I place my electrical cord in to make sure it didn't get wet in case water splashed in through the lower air vents. I had placed the chair near one of the windows and the window toggle wicked water directly into the chair. See photo for water puddle under one of the toggles. Finally, after arriving home, when I unpacked the soaking wet tent to dry it I noticed 2 holes on the floor (see photo). Since the camp site was pristine, I think the holes may have happened during the packing process. Do not waste your time/money on this tent. I plan to see if I can return it. A tent which can not keep you dry in a drizzle is useless, and potentially dangerous. I am lucky I didn't have an electrical fire due to the water intrusion.
