Fun for all ages. Included these in an Easter egg hunt. Occupied my grandchildren-ages 3-19-for an hour uncovering the various dinosaurs. Messy, but so worth it. My 3 year old loves dinosaurs so he was interested in the type of dinosaurs inside the eggs. Which educated everyone. Doing this again next year. Would definitely recommend.

Great gift idea for both Dino lovers! Super easy to break apart compared to some other brands just smash two together. Dinos aren’t for kids under 2 but they are the size you would expect. Could make a good east egg hunt or any other occasion. All eggs had a different Dino none missing so definitely a good value

My 5 year old grandson loves to excavate dinosaur eggs. Previously I had purchased a DIFFERENT brand from Lakeshore Learning . It was a fine product., but it was so very difficult to dig out the dinosaurs, even for an adult. I tried soaking them in water. Did not help. I purchased this Dino Egg Kit hoping it would be a bit more “doable” for kids. IT IS!! I still helped, but even the 5 year old could make progress. These eggs are definitely the brand I would recommend. If you are buying for young children, be prepared to sit with them and help. in addition, all these brands of dino excavation are messy, so you should expect to have to clean up the kids, the table, the floor, yourself.....If the mess does not bother you, this is a wonderful opportunity to sit with children and engage in learning, excitement, and fun! I would buy this brand again.

Kids loved these. My kids are 4.5 and 6. Good quality and package, great for a party activity or just at home with the kids to keep them busy. Time to get through the eggs varied. The first time was about a half hour. Other times it took 5 mins. We have to help a little as the eggs are a bit tough at times but sometimes they get through them with no trouble. It's a little messy, the egg pieces break up and become sort of like a dust, but cleans up easily and wasnt a big deal. I was surprised at how much my kids loved the tiny dino and fact cards. Good product. Will purchase again.

I got this dinosaur dig discovery kit to enhance our learning and make learning more fun. I am homeschooling my kids age 5 and 2. Anyway I got this as a fun activity we can do after we complete a days work of school. My kids love dinosaurs. This set is great! Dry digging. It's a little bit harder for my kids to get them open. Try it with water and it's easier also they like playing with the water and spent longer playing with the eggs even after getting the dinosaurs out. Very fun kit. I highly recommend this! Excellent quality!

When I buy these for daycare it’s a great activity that can span into solid afternoon fun. Starting with a scavenger hunt (clues or for younger age groups, location pictures are a great idea), a brief overview of each dinosaur, the actual dig which takes time and determination for the child to get to the plastic Dino inside finishing up with handing out trading cards to the ones they receive is a great bonus addition at the end. Kid’s learn a lot and are engaged the whole time and for the money you cannot beat it. You can get multiple scavenger hunts out of each box or set up for a massive one. Great go to activity to pass time.

My granddaughter loves dinosaurs and asked for "dinosaur eggs" for her birthday. I brought these to her party and they were a huge hit! There are separate tools for each egg, so all the kids were able to chip away at the eggs together. It is definitely an outdoor activity! "Egg dust" was all over the patio. It is super easy to clean up with a broom and/or water hose though. After the kids had finished chipping open all the eggs and looking at the supplied cards for information about each of the dinosaurs, they played with a much bigger dinosaur who "ate" the little ones from the eggs. They played with these and the bigger one (separate purchase) for quite a long time.
