The input voltage is 4.8CDC, current consumption 2.5 A, Stun output voltage 4.9 million volts. This is all I know. It is scary when you press the button to show the effect of the stun.

How can you tell when the battery is getting low?

the lighting will get dim and the stun will work slower. It doesn't run down very quick.
