Very nice!!
Very nice lens! Works very well for intended use ( night sky photography, in my case)….I’m still putting it through a trial, but very happy so far. Was concerned that lens isn’t recognised by camera ( Canon 70-D), but it is all manual, so functions like autofocus and F-stop are not in camera functions, so camera doesn’t recognise…but functionality is brilliant!!. Item arrived a day early😃 ( Comet ZTF at top of photo)

Unbelievable lens for astrophotography!
If you do astrophotography you need to get one of these lenses! Super sharp, fast and low distortion, just like all the reviews say. Quite heavy but you should expect that in a lens with so much glass. Nice smooth and fine focus ring. Awesome for daytime photography if you don't mind manual focus. I love it!

die reletiv hohe Lichtstärke der Optik hat seinen "Preis" im Gewicht. Rund 700gr sind ein Thema in einem gefüllten Fotorucksack. Man bekommt jedoch ein in Bildqualität und Verarbeitung ausgezeichnetes Objektiv. Kein Autofocus. Ansonsten hält dieses Objektiv auch Vergleiche mit deutlich teureren Optiken stand. Wer also auf schnelle Scharfstellung verzichten kann, das Gewicht in Ordnung findet - eine unbedingte Empfehlung. Als Neuauflage gibt es dieses Objektiv auch mit Autufocus. Jedoch deutlich teurer.

happy lens!
A solid lens that can help create *beautiful* photos. It takes some concentration and effort to manually focus at f2, but I think it's worth it. I can't overstate how impressed I am with the level of detail that is captured within the focused area. The blurred part of the image is exquisitely smooth.This lens takes a tiny bit more work (it's kinda heavy, focusing requires effort, it's large) but it's a nice investment IMHO. edit: I spent many hours trying to find a suitable traveling case for this lens. I took a gamble on the Ruggard 6 x 3.5" case Ruggard Lens Case 6.0 x 3.5" (Black) and it fits! (including the lens hood) I have Canon mount, some of the other brands of mounts a cm or two longer on this lens, so the case may or may not fit non-Canon mount lenses.

Very good astrophotography lens!
Bought this lens for Astrophotography, Very happy with it. The focus is smooth and there is very little chromatic aberration on the stars. The sharp f2.0 let’s a TON of light onto the Sensor. I highly recommend any astrophotographer to have this lens!
