An excellent product that has significantly improved the muscular stiffness in my lower back in a couple of days. The ointment is solid in the pot but melts beautifully onto your fingers as soon as it’s in contact with your hands. Application is simple, it rubs in really well & the ointment has virtually no scent or aroma. The item was dispatched & delivered to my doorstep within 24hrs directly from the seller with the standard “free” postage that’s offered.

This is a great product however because o the pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PA)s it is only suitable for 10 days of use back to back applying it 3 times a day, 4-6 week break then start again. These things get through the skin and cause liver toxicity. Do not use on broken skin. This is lacking on the information online. It's a great product but it's the dose not the poison which is important

It’s good but was expecting more from it

Had a knee strain which I was struggling to ease off until I applied Herbals Comfrey Ointment. I prefer natural health remedies and this meets my needs. It was recommended by a friend and I’m pleased it’s worked and my knee strain has completely eased off. I’m back to normal. There is greasiness so be careful not to use it when wearing trousers. It’s only a small 60ml pot but you only need a small quantity, so it lasts quite a while and is inexpensive.

First of all it was much appreciated as to how quickly the product arrived, so could start to use promptly. I had been impressed with the actual family company that creates it which is main reason I made the choice to buy it. Even though it feels a little greasy when first taking from tub once massaged into the skin it is very well absorbed and does not leave a greasy area which is a plus in terms of keeping clothes from grease marks. That is my experience at any rate. It is slightly early days to say about its effectiveness. And I do not have broken bones or issues with joints, but issues with my spine and cartilage or lack of it, so pain can be pretty bad and effects mobility. I have found the ointment soothing yet, I have also started to wear a lumbar brace and use memory foam cushions and back support so all of this combined is making a difference. And I have bought a tub of the ointment for a family member that does have fractures and so very much hoping it is going to be healing those since after much research I see that comfrey is THE go-to herb for healing of bones.
