Where’s my light 💡
We have received a couple of items by the brand Luceco and they have always been brilliant and I believe this would have been the same if it was in the box.We was supposed to have received a LED Sierra Bulkhead 33 cm, 24 Watts, Standard Driver, White.I would have used this within the bathroom as it was listed as a energy efficient. On the box it looked very stylish but we didn’t have the chance to try.

Perfect for Certain Lighting Situations, but Not All
If you've ever walked along a dark hotel corridor at night and experienced lights illuminating as you reach them, chances are those lights - like this one from Luceco - were fitted with microwave sensors. For situations like that, where people are not exposed to the microwave radiation for extended periods, these lights are perfect. So for hotel corridors or storage facilities that need to be open 24/7, for example, or outdoor yards, these Luceco lights are ideal. For homes or offices, however, they're to be avoided. My father was an analytical chemist whom I worked with for a decade. One of the things he taught me - and taught me well - was the effects of E-fields, H-fields and RF fields on living tissue. In short, they're damaging to health. Regardless of electrical-goods manufacturers claiming otherwise, long-term extended exposure to any microwave radiation (over and above the Universe's background radiation, I mean) has a negative effect on health. With that in mind, I recommend these lights for situations where people are exposed to them briefly and infrequently. In terms of functionality, these Luceco lights are excellent. Their sensitivity is impressive. The light they give off is bright but not glaring. Their IP54 rating means they're suitable for outdoor use (rain falls at low pressure and won't penetrate the outer shell of the lights). It's worth noting that while the IP54 rating means the product is waterproof with regards to low-pressure splashes (such as rainfall or bathroom splashes), it does not mean that the light is suitable for submersible use (such as underwater swimming-pool lighting). For any sort of underwater lighting (up to a depth of 13 feet), products with an IP68 rating are needed.

Big bright all plastic no bulb LED dome ceiling light
The big surprise with the Luceco Sierra LED Bulkhead light was, no new bulbs required, EVER. There’s a plate of individual LEDs inside.I thought would be a good choice for a replacement bathroom light. Style and documentation suggest it’s more a commercial than domestic product, but that’s really a matter of taste. I mean, who looks up once the light’s on? We’ll be using it indoors at home.A polished chrome trim is available, it says on the box.I measured it at 32 cm diameter. It gives 2000 lumens, or just over twice a standard 60w or equivalent bulb, for 24 watts. It’s pretty much going to give you A-efficient, low running costs till Judgement Day, or 50,000 hours, whichever arrives first.Electronics aside, the whole thing is made of lightweight white plastic. No idea how many milkshakes you need to drink through your re-usable straw to offset that.A word of warning to the instruction-sheet averse. Turn the lamp upside down and you'll see the outer trim of the frosted dome is attached to the mounting containing the plate of LEDs by three plastic lugs tucked behind a plastic bezel. These look like the kind of thing you’d click in and out, which works, but it’s not supposed to. We’re lucky we didn’t just break the lugs and wreck the light. The outer trim rotates clock and anticlock-wise, sliding the lugs in and out from behind the raised bezel to a place where the cover just lifts (or drops, when fitted) away. For fitting, to get access to the back-plate and wiring connections there’s a small plastic (again) wing-nut head that turns and allows you to lift (or drop, depending on orientation) the plate of LEDs on a hinge. Wiring is usefully managed with spring-clips not barrel-and-screw connectors. No fiddling with tiny flathead required, but you will need a Phillips to deal with the cable retaining clip.

LED Tray Mounting Far Too Fragile
The inner tray with all the LED's and the wight of the LED driver and Microwave sensor are all on one very small plastic mount and on my one alas this had snapped off.I tried to repair it with Superglue but with no luck. The fitting looks good and has adjustable settings for the light via DIP switches. It just needs to be a bit of a stronger design.
