Simple, looks good, has what you need
It genuinely fills the need of a home bartending kit perfectly. It has everything i need to make drinks with, and the color is super sleek. The packaging was small, and I've had an absolute blast making drinks with it so far. If i had to say one negative thing about it, the shaker seems to get stuck together and is harder to get apart than other shakers i've used. Nothing a few hard hits hasn't solved though, and maybe it will get better over time. 10/10, 5/7 with rice. Would recommend Edited as of March 2022: The kit is still fantastic and has held up splendidly. There's some scratching around the outer rim of the smaller shaker cup, but that's to be expected. I've used every piece of the kit multiple times and everything functions splendidly. It also makes my bar cart look very nice. Still recommend.

Great cocktail set!
I got a great deal on this set - $10 off coupon. I wasn’t expecting to love it but wowww, is it nice!! It’s a great value for the money. The tins fit together nicely with a seal, are a good weight, and you can get them apart easily. Very nice Japanese jigger with measurements on the inside. The Hawthorne strainer has a better than average wound spring, very tall drink spoon, strainer is a nice long cone shape. I’m really happy with this set. It has all the tools you need to get started shaking up some drinks!

If you're looking to start making cocktails, get this set
This cocktail set is well-made and very durable. It has all the basic items you'd need to start with. It includes 18 and 28 oz shakers, mesh conical & julep & hawthorne strainer, measuring jigger, cocktail muddler, mixing spoon, ice tong, 2 liquor pourers and recipes booklet. The hawthrone strainer fits over the shaker fine, and the quality of the set is very good. Overall, the stainless steel holds up well and looks good, so if you're in the market to start mixing drinks, this set deserves strong consideration!

Solid, but I should have bought the silver set.
I use this set for my home bar, and I wanted to give a quick rundown of each part in the set: 1. Shaker - my first experience with a Boston shaker. Works well, good weight to the tins, but I've already marred the finish on the smaller tin, and I've only used it a few times. This delicate finish is on all the parts, and in short, lesson learned. 2. Hawthorne strainer - it's ok. It functions, but I wouldn't recommend buying any Hawthorne strainer that doesn't have a tab in the middle for controlling, say, a gated pour. 3. Julep strainer - it's ok. There's a single weld from handle to the bowl here and you will be scrubbing dried juice/syrups out of that area if you don't rinse immediately after use. 4. Fine strainer - yes. I'd been straining fruit pulp and seeds through overly wide kitchen strainers for too long! Also, the mesh is finer than any strainer I had at home previously. An important tool. 4. Muddler - good weight, but haven't used it enough to know how durable it is. 5. Jigger - it looks nice, and I appreciate the 1 1/2, 3/4, and 1/2 oz measuring lines. Solid. 6. Bar Spoon - also solid. My first real bar spoon, since I had been using silverware or a free-with-bottle bar spoon previously. It's as good quality as most bar spoons you could buy separately. 7. Ice tongs - Lol. Use a scoop for whatever you store your ice in. These are too small for the "perfect" ice trays, leave alone the giant silicon ice molds. 8. Speed pourers - if you make enough drinks to necessitate a speed pourer, you will trash the finish on this set fairly quickly. If you keep them on your bottles when you aren't making drinks, you'll find out why you shouldn't fairly quickly. In short, I learned that ideally, I should stay away from plating or finishes on tools that require a watertight metal-on-metal seal. I certainly shouldn't pay more for it. For someone who occasionally makes a cocktail for their S.O., the finish may hold up over time. The form and function is ultimately pretty good on this set, so I'm satisfied.

Great quality for price
Got it on sale. Great value for the price. The black is more metallic chrome black than the black in their picture. I wanted a stainless steel shaker but I didn't want their shiny silver chrome either. After a simple wash with using the green part of the sponge, I noticed I scratched the black paint. Once it gets scratches all over, ill just sand it down to get the original stainless steel color I wanted. Overall great quality for the on sale price. If it wasn't on sale, I'd think twice before purchase. I wanted a Koriko first but it was expensive if I wanted to build a whole kit.

Pleasantly Surprised
Having worked in the restaurant industry and having spent much time around professional bar equipment, I was nervous about the quality of this set. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the quality is. The tins are very sturdy, and everything seemed well made. There are some items in the kit I felt to be extraneous, like the ice tongs and bottle stoppers, but otherwise great purchase and almost everything you would need to stock a home bar. The only thing missing is a mixing glass for stirred cocktails.

Shaker set that is sturdy and has a nice finish
I was looking for a cocktail mixer for a quite sometime now, and was not sure give that there’s so many option. I wanted a heavy shaker, so that it’s sturdy. This shaker lives up to the name. Here are the list of pros and cons. Pros: 1) Boston shaker is very Sturdy, and the finish is fantastic. 2) The whole set is very adequate for all the cocktail needs. Cons: 1) The black finish though looks great, I can’t predict how this will age. Verdict: Very high quality shaker set for a reasonable price
