We got a used one from a friend. It has kept smells inside it (but ohhhh watch out when you open it!). We bag poopy diapers in a little disposable diaper bag then put them in the Champ. We bought 1000 pack for cheap on Amazon. They are similar to doggie poop bags. We haven't bought the actual refill garbage bags-- we simply use anything from grocery sacks to 13 gallon kitchen garbage bags. The only problem with this is that part of the bag hangs out of the unit and our kiddo likes to go yank on the plastic. It could potentially be a swallowing hazard if she broke some off. I don't think she has actually ripped it yet (she's 10 months old) but I am considering buying Champ brand bags for a while. This thing holds days worth of diapers. Note: only flush diapers through it-- not wipes on their own, kleenex's and other garbage items. They get stuck in it and jam it. Those things you would have to actually lift the lid for (stinky alert!). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ sehr gut *by H***N on Reviewed in Germany on February 22, 2012* Meine Frau wollte den Diamper Champ haben, also kaufen. :-)Im Nachhinein kann ich aber nur sagen: Kaufen.Die Handhabung ist sehr einfach.Man öffnet den Eimer und legt eine ausreichend große Tüte ein (wir nehmen 30l, aber es würden evtl. auch 20l passen) und schließt das Ganze wieder.Windeln in die Öffnung ober reinwerfen und den Griff von vorne nach hinten legen (oder umgekehrt) und schon fällt die Windel mittels Schwerkraft und Schiebens des Zylinderkolbens unten in die Tüte rein.Beim Entleeren erneut den Eimer mittel Griff öffnen, die Tüte packen (wie ein Würgegriff) und danch den darüberliegenden Knopf drücken, damit die Tüte "freigegeben" wird. Fertig zur Entsorgung.Das Gute ist, dass man wirklich Müllbeutel aus dem Supermarkt nehmen kann. Ganz egal ob mit oder ohne Zugband.Meines Erachtens reicht die Größe "regular" vollkommen aus. Allzu viele Windeln sollte man nicht sammeln (siehe unten).Alles sehr einfach und entsprechend super!Man sollte aber auf folgende Dinge achten:- Wirklich nur Windel einwerfen und keine anderen Dinge. Manchmal wirft man auch Feuchttücher ein. Dies kann aber zur Folge haben, dass diese sich in der Öffnung zwischen der Innenwand und dem Zylinderkolben verklemmt und nicht in die Tüte fällt.- 100%ig dicht kann das Teil einfach nicht sein. Man bemerkt in dem Zimmer nach zwei bis drei Tagen, dass es nach Windeln riecht.
