It is a genuine Grohe part.
Easy to fit, if you do have difficulty threading it through the tap, thread the broken end of the old hose through first and then tape the new hose to it and slowly pull it through. Although dearer than buying from Grohe's spares department, it arrived the following day and not as Grohe forecast 2 to 3 weeks.

Un peu cher (44€ tout de même ...), mais se connecte parfaitement à mon mitigeur de cuisine Gröhe, et c'est nécessaire car les flexibles standards du marché ne conviennent pas, à cause notamment d'une grande longueur pour atteindre le filetage coté douchette Gröhe (assez inhabituel je dois dire ...) . Ce flexible ci est donc parfait et s'adapte de façon adéquate à la section du ressort qui permet le retour en place de la douchette extractible. Je recommande donc cet article si l'on dispose d'un mitigeur de cuisine Gröhe à douchette extractible. Merci.

There were parts missing which were both the connector for the nozzle which we already had and the washer that we had already on the quick connect which was still good so it was easy to replace the old nylon hose with this. This is a universal repair hose I found out by going to the Grohe website and pasting the item number in but with this one you would have a spring for retraction. We have an older Concetto Grohe ( discontinued ) that this fit with using the original sprayer. It's heavy enough to install without the weight you just have to push it in instead of letting it snap back up which I think might be a little hard on the cable. TIP: Don't bend these at the head when spraying, pull it down or out at least a foot first and then make a gentle bend in the hose so you aren't kinking the inner pex line. Also you should change all hoses about every 10 years to avoid leaks. Very happy with this item but next time will go with a less expensive after market hose.
