3N Natural Dark Brown Permanent Hair Dye, Nourishes Hair and Covers Greys, Ammonia-Free, 4.4 fl oz

I was disappointed the first time I tried this color years back. Tried it again recently and still wasn’t happy with the results. But, as I have become very good at coloring my own hair in the last few years, I did some investigating to see if it was user error with this product. I have stubborn gray and very few hair dyes that have mostly good ingredients are hard to find. Because Tints of Nature is one of the few hair dyes without silicone and the harsher chemicals that are found with most hair dyes, I did some work and I am very happy with the results. I used their clarifying shampoo (nice extra!) and I dyed my hair when it was semi-damp, left out a little bit of the gel that’s added to the developer. I found this information online - It changes the balance of the chemicals and allows the color penetrate better. And, I left it on for one hour. It worked! My color turned out awesome and it covered the gray in the stubborn spots - on my temples and on my neck. I love this hair color. Although I don’t have known allergies to PPD and other harsh chemicals, I do sometimes get itching from other healthier hair dyes. Tints of Nature is easy on my scalp and I love that they use as many healthy ingredients as possible! And, I’m very happy with the results!

After a terrible experience with eSalon I was about to give up with self coloring... but because of the pandemic, there wasn't another option. I bought this one at Sprout and this is the 4th time that I'm re-ordering it through Amazon. The color is vibrant and natural. covers my thick greys, It lasts. it doesn't smell like chemical and my hair are soft and lucid. The only cons are that it's pricy compared to other brand and that there's definitely not enough product if you wanna dye long hair ( I only do root retouch )

My daughter, a vegan, picked this vegan hair dye for its quality and closely matching my normal hair color before grays set in. She dyes for me and it lasts LONGER than any hair care done at a salon. This product DOES NOT stink when used like many hair dyes and leaves the user with GORGEOUS , RICH color that lasts and last. I am so glad to use this product.

I really liked this product. It's very easy to use, no allergy and doesn't smell. I have used some others and after washing I would get black spots on my back but this did a great job. No issues. Only thing is 3N dark brown looks more like black. I would get a lighter color next time.

I read A LOT of reviews before changing to natural hair dye but I was determined and this was the first I tried and I love it. It's the perfect shade for me. I don't mind the initial shampoo either, most reviews I read were disappointed it made the hair coarse but I just found it really CLEANED the hair so as the dye takes better to the hair. It doesn't make the hair tangled and doesn't cause knots so once combed the dye is easy to get through the hair again. I have short, very fine hair so I never use the whole bottle but I'm really impressed. The smell is strange the first time you use as it's a natural smell rather than of chemicals but i'd rather that than burning my scalp (which I have actually done with scars to prove before with the chemical hair dyes). It's just a different product and you can't expect the same as what you get with the chemical dyes. I also think it makes my hair softer and silky after I've dyed it. Really impressed and so were my family. It lasts around 3-4 weeks but I don't find that my roots are massively showing but rather that the whole colour fades more naturally. Happy to then dye my hair say every 4-6 weeks. The price is more expensive than say some of the chemical ones but I'm actually fine with that when I know it's better for my hair and skin.

I first started going grey in my early twenties, so I had to colour my hair. I hate the damage it does to my hair and I've tried many products. I can honestly say I was so impressed with this product. It provides a really good clarifying shampoo which you use first to get rid of build up on the hair, then after you wash the colour out you have another shampoo to hydrate and lock in the colour as well as a special conditioner you leave in for 5 minutes. The result of all this good care coupled with the fact that there is no ammonia, parabens or resourcinol is your hair looks and feels good. The colour result was superb! So happy with it, some colourants produce effects which are too dark. This is the most natural looking colour result I've ever achieved. Will definitely continue to use this.

Die Farbe ist super und hält was sie verspricht. Die Haare werden nicht, wie bei anderen Produkten, geschädigt sondern gepflegt. Der Duft ist angenehm und die Farbe lässt sich gut auftragen. Bei längeren Haaren empfehle ich zwei Packungen zu kaufen.

I chose this because advertised reviews stated it was more gentle. So didnt mind paying double what i normally pay. However after following ALL the instructions, my hair was left with poor coverage and dried it out. So not sure if this formula has changed since. I contacted the customer service team for the hair company and they just asked a list of questions and evidence of the dye. I felt they were not concerned with my experience, or making a gesture. But more on not accepting their product and instructions were at fault. Needless to say i will not waste my time any further with them. I will just not buy this again. I also urge others also to do the same, before wasting their money. Or expect a good customer service.
