Let me start by saying the TourMaster pants feel weighty, they have a much tighter mesh weave and feel like $180 pants. But, these HWK pants are a better value and better fit for me. Even buying the “short” size of the TourMaster these are 3.5 inches shorter, and the knee pads in the HWK fit in the right place for me. The armor is a little suspect, but for $25 I can buy some D3O knee pads, and have really amazing pants for $60. The sides only unzip about 10 inches, so you have to take your boots off. I normally wear size 38 waist and ordered up to fit over my pants. That was a mistake, they were too big and returned them for the smaller size, but that was my fault for not trusting the size chart.These HWKs are not as good as the TourMaster but they are almost identical to the Bilt mesh pants at cycle gear, and much cheaper. But for my money and my build I prefer these.The TourMaster pants are on the left with the white patches. The yellow armor is from the HWK and feels like foam.I am 5’7 215lbs and wear 38x30 jeans off the rack. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You're gonna like the way they fit, I guarantee it. 😆 *by S***X on Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2019* I tried some armored Jeans from another company in my normal size (32) and they were about 4 inches too small, then I returned them for a 36 because they didnt have a 34. Those pants were too big. I was about ready to give up on motorcycle pants, and then I saw these. As soon as I pulled them up I could tell they were perfect, even before I fastened the buttons. The only complaint I have so far is that the knee pads are kinda weird, but for the price of the pants I can either get over that or just buy some better knee pads. I normally wear pants size 34/34 and I bought one size up, the 36/38-34 size and they fit awesome over any of my pants! They do great in hot weather, the mesh breathes very well. The armor in the knees and hips seem very durable. My only qualm with these overpants is that I wish they would make them in a tall size. I am 6'4'' and standing up they are the right length, but on my bike they ride up and are too short and the knee pads move up on my thighs. The reason I knocked a star off is because I cannot get these on with my boots on. I have to put the pants on first and then put my boots on. Most overpants have a long side zipper so you can just throw them on and go. Honestly though, if you are a normal height rider, these pants are unbelievable for the price. Highly recommend.
