ProtoJ226-01G 7-1/2" Needle-Nose Pliers w/Side Cutter

These do the most of the job they were designed for. The jaws are lined up well and they grip well on objects. They also seem to close tightly. The one thing that I found kind of useless is the wire cutters on them. They will work on most soft wire and small diameter wire, but are not the best cutters. It requires a moderate amount of force for me to get them to cut steel wire, and that hurts my hand after a few times of doing it.

Great slim but strong pliers, for the price you could get Klein,channellock or knipex.

I was hopeful that I’d get a really good pair of US made pliers and was very disappointed. I got two pair. One pair had loose rivet, there was lateral play in handles. Second pair was solid in this regard but both had what seemed like poor fit and finish—things looked off, misaligned, especially compared to Gedore, Knipex and Klein tools I looked at. Returned both.

Great Pliers, a little pricey but the quality reflects that. They are US made so I am proud to rock these in my tool bag. I have to admit i don't use needle nose very often both at home and work but I am always aching at the opportunity to use these. PROTO = PROfessional TOol

Quality was pretty bad. It was hard to open and close. It was not straight or symmetrical. Not what i expected from a usa made company like this.
