22170-G-CP Purist® Three-function showerhead, 1.75 gpm, Polished Chrome

I recently stayed at a hotel with this model shower head and tried the air induction part of the shower head and then had my wife try it. It’s hard to describe but it almost feels like water isn’t hitting you. It feels so awesome and we loved it so much I had to figure out who made it and I bought her one for Christmas. I can’t tell you how much we love it. I highly recommend. I have oil rubbed bronze fixtures and they only had this in kind of a flat black but it blends in perfectly with the ORB spout. This does not come with the spout, it is just the head. The video shows the air induction function and it is so much quieter than the other functions.

Shower head is solid unit and no complaints until recently (3 years) when a whistling noise began after the water warms up. Soaking the head in vinegar overnight resolved the problem.

Bought this for our secondary bath, to replace a builder’s grade shower kit that was 18 years old. It’’s fine; two clicks above builders’ grade. There are three shower settings—-full head, center holes, mist. Full head is most useful to me but it’s still pretty soft, a tad disappointing. Center is meh. Mist is useless for showering but maybe valuable for rinsing off large household items like refrigerator veggie bins? For what u get I think this is a bit overpriced. Looks are solid B—-won’t transform your bath but not hard on the eyes either.

Was at a nice resort hotel and found one of the treats was the awesome shower offered at the resort. Before I left I had to check the model, silly it made such an impact. Got home and ordered 1 for each of the showers at the house. Everyone loves the micro-mist feature. Absolutely the best I ever owned. Makes a rain head seem basic in comparison. HIGHLY RECOMMEND....

Excellent product

I don’t know what was the update made to the product but original Kohler purity showerhead worked much better as water pressure is much less with the new updated veraion! Not happy at all. Would like to return!

As someone else said, it’s a few clicks above builder’s grade. Surprising considering the price and the brand. The body is PLASTIC and feels cheap despite the look of it. Pressure is also sub-par. Will be returning it.
