How hard or easy is it to remove this plaster from a wedding ring set?  Very detailed wedding ring set........????

We worried about that, too. But in the first step of the process, you put your hands into a solution that turns into a rubbery plastic. It slides right off as you gently wiggle your hands (and rings) out of it. Any residue rinses off easily. You won't need soap, though you might want yo use it, anyway.The plaster doesn't enter into the picture until after you've made the mold and removed your hands.

Would this be wide enough for two people to make a pinky promise gesture?

Yes, it will be wide enough; however, make sure to practice the position before making the mold.
The length of the bucket is 19 centimeters.

I need to make a mold for pourable silicone. Will this work or would it stick to the mold?

I don't think so.  I wanted to use it to make soap molds and the company said it wouldn't work.

Will this kit work for 5 kids ?

It should. Consider their ages. I would say the youngest should be 3 or 4 depending on how well the little one listens to being very still for up to 5 minutes. Do it at a table the kids can stand next to, or a surface comfortable for them to have their hands somewhat holding one another and perpendicular to the bottom.  I did it for 2 adult hands and a 12 and 10 year old. You want to make sure the kids understand to practice with their hand positions and once they dip down, touch the bottom and lift up about an inch. Then relax and don't move until it solidifies. Movement makes it less detailed though it still works. No scolding allowed. This should be fun and relaxed for everyone. Have them practice their hand positions, then dip them all down into an empty bucket prior to mixing the #1 Casting. Tap on the bucket to release air bubbles, then have them dip into this casting material. you can watch it set as the color changes. Then the adult  facilitating this should gently peel the alginate away from the wrists and starting from the middle, lift the hands out one at a time.  Once all the hands are pulled out, let the kids rinse off in a bucket. Don't have the stuff off their hands go down your drain. The facilitator should rinse the mold out several times with room temperature or cool water... using needle nose pliers or tweezers, pull out any thin layering of alginate that is just hanging out in the mold. This would just be trapped inside the casting and could cause mold to grow. Once all the loose stuff is rinsed out, place a bunched up towel on top of the bucket and tip it over to drain excess water out while you mix the white plaster. Be sure to keep a couple tablespoons of dry plaster for fixing any flaws later... mix the plaster, pour it in, swish it around, dump out, and repeat, swiftly, a couple of times. Then fill the mold with the white material. Tap the bucket several times to release air bubbles. Let set 3-4 hours but no longer than 5 hours. Then start demolding, pulling off the molding material a bit at a time, being careful not to tug at any fingers. I used a dental tool to clean out the cracks and crevices. Take your time doing this. Once all done, rinse with water. This next step is important. Dry in front of a fan for several days, rotating it periodically so it dries without mold forming on it. If you get mold spots, dab them with bleach to kill the mold. This kit for 5 kids should dry 3 weeks or so before sealing with a mixture of 1 part satin mod podge to 3 parts water. Let dry in between coats. I mounted it on a 12x12 base with E6000 epoxy which works like a charm. Have fun!
