Due to how similar they are, I would not be surprised if they came out of the same factory with two different brands on it. They are probably the same exact cable all the way through. I did not notice any problem with sound quality when using the smartphone as a player and the Fiio M3K as a USB-DAC. If you need this cord, and want to save a few bucks, get it. I don't see any reason to spend more for the Fiio, atm. Review: Defective - One star is too many as the cable is defective and gonna end up in the trash bin.
