Review: They're not green, but they did the job - The boots are definitely more of a sky blue without a hint of green, but after only a couple hours of breaking them in, I took them on a 2 week trip to hike in Yosemite and up the Pacific coast. They were extremely comfortable and surprisingly light weight, kept my feet dry playing in shallow creeks, and held me steady on most of the terrain-from loose rock to slippery evergreen needles. (I'm pretty sure there's not a shoe out there that can handle wet granite worn smooth by thousands of hikers, so I'll give them a pass on that.) I've worn a lot of different hiking boots over the years and held on to my Salomons way longer than I should have because I thought they were great, but I would put these up against those more expensive brands any day. My 14-year-old daughter also loves her pair. Review: Go Half Size Up! Very comfy all terrain boots. - I went a half size up (10 --> 10.5) due to other reviews and they fit perfect. I walked 5 miles in them the first day and they were instantly comfy, no "breaking them in". I've been wearing these for a month or so now and they are seriously one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have. The soles have great grip for all terrain hiking and they are also comfy for city walks. Great ankle and arch support. I added arch support inserts (for fallen arches) and still had plenty of toe room.

More comfortable than expected
I was in needed of a decent pair of shoes to wear on light hikes that would also hold up in the Seattle rain. I ordered my actual size 8 and tried them out with both thick and thin socks. My foot is a bit narrow and flat so it could okay a role in the overall fit an comfort. But, the shoes fit perfectly, with both thick and thin socks. With the thicker socks it is a tighter fit, but I have room and my toes are not cramped. They were comfortable all day long and kept my feet warm and dry. I am happy with them.

The cyan & green are switched but good for me!
I ordered the dark green with black trim boots because the green was pretty and for some reason the green is cheaper than the other colors. I noticed on the Amazon page that the pictures seemed to be swapped for the cyan/blue and green. I had a feeling the wrong color would show up...and, yep. They sent me the blue instead of the green, but the good news is that the blue is a very pretty color and they still charged me the lower green price! Scoree! The size 7 pair that I ordered seems to be a true size 7, but I will warn people that if you have a wide foot these might not work for you or you may want to go up a size. I have narrow feet, so I'm fine. As you can see from my photos, I have a badly broken right foot and chipped ankle, and I am 6 weeks in. One of the reasons I broke my foot and ankle is that I have a tendency to wear totally crap and non-supportive shoes, which, added onto the fact I was dancing, jumping, and twirling like a crazy woman, had things go horrendously wrong on January 14th. After the hell I have gone through, I refuse to ever break a bone again. I'm tossing out all my non-supportive crap shoes. I am obsessed with foot support. I plan on wearing these vegan hiking boots even with a dress. My good left foot feels totally supported and stable in the boot. I would like to try it on my broken right foot, but I can't really shove my swollen foot into the boots right now.

Perfect boot for 8 hour trek on rocks, sand and gravel
These boots were instantly comfortable to wear. I am a trash/litter remover for the state of Nevada meaning I climb a lot of rocks and hills of sand. Up steep grades and down hill. Needed good gripping soles with ankle support. These boots are perfect so far. Without ordering wide width these boots are perfect for my flat fat feet 👍 I have not been in wet conditions yet so I can not evaluate the water proof guarantee. I can only state one flaw though, if I could even call it that. I have learned that the because the type of fabric these are made with, they do collect foxtail stickers. Not the sole of the shoe, just the fabric and this has been annoying but easy to remove. Just heads up to anyone trekking through bushes and weeded areas...

Waterproof doesn’t last, material not very durable
I got these for my job. As I am an animal control officer, I trudge through mud when doing livestock well-being and get my feet wet with water used to clean the shelter daily, so I needed something durable and waterproof. I do want to note I have worn these 5 days a week, 8-10 hours a day, for about 6 months - but the waterproof has already worn off entirely within only a few months and the rubber connections to the soles of the shoes has peeled since then. They’re also slightly heavy and bulky in the soles. Would not suggest this boot if you desire something truly waterproof with long-lasting durability and are on your feet frequently for work or for outdoor activities. I will say that they are comfortable and form fitting, true to size, and provide good ankle support.

Love them!!
I’ve had these boots now for 2 seasons hiking all over the southwest US and like them so much I searched back in my Amazon account to give them a review. I’ve usually just hiked in tennis shoes and decided to try boots. I ordered the light blue ones and have had many complements on them. They have great traction on rocks and good ankle support and seem to keep out water, although I haven’t submerged them completely. I usually wear a 7.5 or an 8 but followed the advise of the other reviewers and ordered an 8.5 and they fit well.
