I have been looking for plant pots like these for ages, I love having plants around the house but having to keep watering them every other day got to become a task. Using these self-watering plants are great as I don't have to worry about watering them all of the time just once every 3 weeks I just refill the pot and I'm done.I wish they had larger sizes though as my plants are in a need of a re-pot soon.

So I have the white outer pots and the black liners, and 6 strips of wick like material... and exactly what do I do to make this work? Where are the instructions?

I struggle to see why these are better than standing a plant pot in a saucer of water or putting it inside a regular planter. These are very light and flimsy, not particularly attractive (very obviously made of cheap plastic) and are basically just a pot inside another pot, designed in such a way that you can't even see how much moisture is in the outer pot without taking it apart. Waste of time and money. Self watering suggests a much more specific and sophisticated process than just putting one pot inside another one.

These are great pots and have made it more likely for my plants to survive. The outer white pot is slightly squishable (not incredibly thick plastic) but I don't think this will cause any problem and you can't tell by looking at it. Plus I wanted less expensive pots, if I wanted incredibly study I'd expect to pay a lot more. If I need more for future plants I'll definitely consider buying another set of these.

I recently started converting my plants to leca and these are really handy to use. Make sure to read the measurements in the picutre properly as the liner diameter is smaller than the overall diameter - you want to select it based on the liner. Also if you look at the pictures it's self explanitory on how to use the cotton wicks provided. I have bought each size and plan to buy more.

Nice looking and good around product. Would be nice if the middle insert that makes up the main planter part was slightly bigger, but all in all a nice set of 6 pots
