Bright light but remote only works close to it.
I put the light in my back yard. It is great for light but the remote only works when you are close to it. I wanted it to work inside My house which isn't too far away.

really nice & bright light - easy to install
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it comes on by itself every night and I have to go turn it off. The written instructions don't really address how to keep it turned off unless you turn it on using the remote control.

NO Customer service
This is my third light from these folks. Came thru damaged. Called Amazon customer support 3 times. Couldn t understand any of the operators. They said to return it. I said it is installed on a 40' pole. All I need is the charging panels as on was damaged with a connection severed. Light is fine. Ended up hanging up on the last operator as I couldn't understand the options. Lights are great, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTANT. SPEAK ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!

This is a pretty good solar light
Update: The bracket does not hold up. It has bent in the wind. Also, the placement of the holes to attach the bracket to the solar panel is such that the top of the panel cannot is blocked by the wood timber I have the bracket attached to. I'm using this in a horse run-in shed. The light is bright without being overpowering, and covers a reasonable area - around the size of a typical 12x12 stall, which is about what I expected. Installation was a bit fussy, but that's probably because I'm not particularly handy. The remote is not great. I can't get the auto-on to stop. That's not a big problem, though, because I shut the light off when I'm done. The remote looks and feels really cheap, and the light responds only with direct "line of sight" to the light and only if you're no more than a few feet away. It's not a deal-breaker - I'm going to buy a few more of these - but it sure would be nice to have a little more robust and reliable remote.

Great value for the cost
Bright light the illuminates a 16x16 stall. The bracket that holds the solar panel appears flimsy but it has survived our Monsoon winds. I use the auto feature and it turns on at dusk and stays light past midnight.
