Needed to build a network in my RV. Runs on USB power. Supports cameras with Ubiquiti software including Network and Protect. Onboard data storage. Add a Ubiquiti Express router and a phone or cellular modem for the internet and get wifi, wired ports, and remote management, all running on battery power.

I’ve installed many of these with zero issues. If you are already in the know about the UniFi equipment, you will see the value this can bring.

Stopped working only got 1 year out of it $262.00 waisted I've had less expensive equipment last years without failing I didn't expect unifi to be of such poor quality

Big improvement over the gen 1 cloud key.Definitely worth the money.Very easy to use!

I bought this unit on June 26, 2024. The hard drive failed in November, 2024. Seller and factory support discontinued before November. Steer clear.

It crashes all the time. Internet forums suggested it might be a heat issue so I put a fan on it, and switched to a much cooler SSD. It still crashes if I use it - and it doesn't auto reboot. So I have to physically unplug/plug to get it working again. If it crashes while I'm away the entire video recording system is offline until I get back. Boo.

Ubiquiti products are useless if you need assistance. They show they have a chat or a paid phone support but there is no access. There are no videos coinciding to my setup on youtube. They sell products to which they provide zero support. Then they wonder why they get shipped back. They don't work if you can't provide support to make them work!!!!

This does not work and it looks like maybe a hard drive failure? I am looking at returning it now.
