IMS Baristapro Nanotech Precision Ridgeless Double Portafilter Basket - 20 Gram

Very nice basket, but a magnet will not stick to it. Works with my magnetic funnel because the funnel has ridges that keep it positioned over the basket, so not a big deal. With the rare exception stainless has always been non-magnetic.

BaristaPro is my favorite basket. Very consistent from one to the next. Very predictable. Beats everything I’ve tried including $200 billet baskets.

Has nicely shaped walls and supports good extractions. Still refining my usage. Fits well in a Gaggia Classic Evo Pro standard basket. Get a bit more volume out at same dose and time compared to original basket which has more of slightly curved bottom corners. Puck cleans out better than standard but still some grounds stick in bottom corners.Not at all magnetic in my experience which is a slight negative but not a showstopper. Will try to update this review after some more usage. Overall good product and value for the money.

Fits well in the stock Gaggia Classic portafilter.

This basket seems to help take some sharpness from strong roasts but even if this is just my imagination it is without a doubt much easier to clean. The nano coating really helps in preventing the puck from sticking as much.

If you’re into espresso, I would avoid this basket. It’s super inconsistent. I would not be cheap and get a VST precision basket. This one will not give you a good smooth flow.

i use this on my ascaso uno steel v4 pid and it works really well. upgraded from a 14g to a 20g. saw the quality as soon as i open the packaging.

Just works as advertised.
