Vari Cube Plus Series – Height Adjustable Standing Desk Converter – Stand Up Desk for Dual Monitors and Cubicles (Cube Plus 48)

I contemplated the 36” but purchased the Cube Plus 48” black Varidesk. The table I sat it on is 48x22. The 48" length fits perfect and there is a 1/2” overhang on the 22" depth (which I expected). I did have to pull the table away from the wall about 1” but that was to accommodate for pictures I have hung there… the unit itself could have sat flush with the wall because when it rises up it comes forward (just a bit) and not backward.Most people talk about having two monitors, but I only have one because I use my laptop monitor. I haven’t seen anyone comment on whether a laptop would fit on the bottom shelf so I took a chance when I ordered it. I am happy to say that my laptop does fit on the bottom shelf; however, please note that my laptop is pretty small. It measures only 8” depth and just fits… any larger and it would not be possible to open the lid and use the laptop keyboard and screen.I ordered the desk on a Tuesday with Prime 2-day delivery but it actually was delivered on the very next day – Wednesday! The desk was very well packaged and they even included some fun stuff like a coaster and Velcro tie-wraps (with the Varidesk logo, of course). Very nice touch, Varidesk!!This desk is very solid construction!! Mind you, is heavy… you will definitely need help lifting it onto a desktop.I am attaching a picture to show how my laptop fits on the lower shelf whether the desk is fully collapsed or fully extended.

I received the 48" version today. Super easy to setup... in just minutes I had it unboxed and on my desk. Took me about 30 minutes to setup my (3) 27" monitors on extension arms and get all my wires (speakers, phone, etc) all situated. By no fault of this product, the mounting arms for my monitors are a bit large and prevent the desk from going all the way down, but there are other ways to mount monitors including drilling through the desk surface. So, just be aware, that if you're using monitor mounts there's limited space to bolt down the monitors too this desk. (The part that goes under the desk needs to be low profile and narrow.) Its doable, but just don't expect it to work perfectly without some effort. Regardless, the setup is now WAY better than when I had these monitors on my desk. I'm able to position them closer to me and at the perfect height and angle. The only other minor detail to note... when using monitor arms, they're subject to vibration when you're typing. The desk itself is very sturdy but the highly extended monitor arms accentuate the vibration a bit. Regardless of these issues (which are specific to using monitor arm extensions) I love it!!! Having stand up meetings in my office is nice, too, because people feel less inclined to hang round too long!

I love this. The desk adjusts to multiple levels and LOCKS into place. There no hint of wobble. I can work while sitting or standing. The raising or lowering of the desk takes a bit of getting used to, but most new things do. I essentially have three levels of my workspace desk. I wanted something steady, and this is it. When the desk is raised, it does jut out a bit. I did not anticipate that, but all I had to do was push the desk back a bit further from the edge. It's perfect for me. Be sure to check the dimensions of your desk to make sure you have the required 4'x2' - it's nice and big.

When the desk arrived today, the bar connecting the handle to the rising mechanism appears to be dislodged. This is true on both sides. I don't understand how they can ship a rising desk that cannot rise. Do they not have outgoing quality assurance?Amazon will not allow me to replace the item, only return it. That means I have to drive it to UPS. I can't even fit it in my car.I am trying to get through to Vari's warranty center but have been on hold for a few hours. I'll update this review later if they end up resolving this.

I was very hesitant to spend them money, but after weeks of researching for comparable products, I decided to purchase the Varidesk. It arrived on time and was completely assembled and well built. I will definitely get many years of use out of it. I have now been using it for two months and it has to be the best money ever spent. I find myself raising and lowering the desk several times, through out the day. It's very easy to lower it and raise it and does so very smoothly. I have both my computer monitors on it, as well as my water cup and other items that don't even budge each time I raise and lower the desk. If you have been considering buying one of these, do yourself a favor and buy it now! You won't regret it!

I'm a fulltime RV'er and my desk is only 30 inches. This "Cube" version of the Vari desk works out perfectly.I was spending so many hours in my chair that my back and hips began to bother me. This desk is working out GREAT! I have a very nice chair made my Allsteel, but still had issues sitting for long periods of time.Now I can stand up for any amount of time and no longer chained to my chair.VARI, Many thanks for making a "Cube" version so that it fits my RV desk. I LOVE IT!!

I purchased the 48” VariDesk for a cubicle for my sister. To say she is tickled pink is an understatement. It came yesterday and she set it up today. She said it was as easy as VariDesk said it would be once her two strong male coworkers hoisted it up on her desk. She is so happy that I splurged and got the 48” because she said she has tons of working space. And the plus for her was that there’s plenty of space under the keyboard to place needed folders right at her fingertips. VariDesk, she’s in love. I can state that the price tag was well worth it to see and hear how happy she is. Oh yeah, she said the anti-fatigue mat is so thick that she didn’t even feel like she was standing most of the day and that for once her lower backbone didn't hurt. She wanted to write the review herself but then it wouldn’t have shown verified purchaser. Definitely worth the 5 stars. She said she would give it a 10 if allowed.

During lockdown I developed lower back issues. I ordered this and a new ergonomic chair. The chair arrived first and made a difference almost immediately. Couple of days later the Cube Plus arrived. I left it in the box and gave the chair a few more days. After 1 week I decided to return the Cube Plus. No fuss. Immediate refund. Thank you!

Habe lange überlegt ob ich mir den Varidesk leisten soll. Habe aber auch nichts vergleichbares gefunden. Es gibt andere Systeme die man an den Schreibtisch festschrauben kann. Wenn man aber wie ich zwei Monitore benutzen möchte ist der Varidesk die richtige Wahl. Ich verwende zwei 24Zoll Monitore, ein Stapel Unterlagen liegt auch immer mit drauf und eine Flasche Wasser steht auch noch mit rum. Trotzdem lässt er sich ganz leicht in die benötigte Position bringen. Alles ohne groß Schrauben zu lösen. Einfach die beiden Hebel anziehen und verstellen.Ich habe wegen dem hohen Preis lange überlegt aber wenn ich ein paar mal NICHT zum Osteopaten gehe muss habe ich soger etwas gespart ;-) und mir geht es einfach schon besser !!Würde ihn mir sofort wieder kaufen.

This desk does wonders for my back.Sitting for 9 plus hours a day over the past 25 years did not help.Now i stand 5-6 hours everyday and the back is much better.The unit is very easy to lower and raise.I highly recommend this desk as well as the Varidesk anti fatigue mat.

Super Produkt, nur leider doch etwas teuer.Allerdings ist es für den Rücken nun eine wirkliche Entlastung, sichere Lieferung und gute Verpackung

This desk is perfect for me. Especially since I didn't want to replace my beautiful desk, this works out just great. I can raise and lower it without any effort. I love it.
