The mount is very sturdy and secure
This mount really opens up the Arlo's mobility. The nubs that came with the Arlo is very confining, which is why I ordered this. The mount is sleek and matches the design of the Arlo. The design is well thought out: If you want to mount this on to a wall you first screw in the mounting plate and them simply turn the mount on to the plate and it clicks right in. The mount is very sturdy and secure.Size:At 3.5" in diameter the mount is not small, but it is sleek. Just look at your Arlo, and think about how wide a stand would have to be to hold that whole thing up on it's back side on a table. This mount is much larger than the nub. The height is right around 3". It hides its size very well with its design, and with the Arlo attached to it it looks good and does not look big at all.Should this have been included with the Arlo:I can understand why Netgear did not include this mount: The mount requires more box space than the actual Arlo and it would have driven up the cost of the Arlo. I still think they should include at least one of these mounts. This mount really breathes a lot of fresh air into the Arlo and shows off the magnetic attachment feature. Conclusion:I recommend this mount. I will likely buy one or two more of these mounts. I hate to spend the extra money, but I feel like I am getting a quality product, so I'm willing to cough it up.

Arlo Accessory - Table/Ceiling Mount
I bought this for my Arlo Pro 2 camera and it works perfectly. Much better than the cheapo non-OEM versions you can get for about half the price. I tried one of those and the sub-par construction was annoying. The real deal has a high-quality ball and base. You can detach the unit from the base plate which is useful for precise installation, and if you ever need to clean it. I found it easy to mount to the overhang near my front door.

This works perfectly with EufyCam 2. Allows tremendous flexibility in positioning the camera.
This works perfectly with EufyCam 2. It allows tremendous flexibility in positioning the camera. It is also nice looking.Just sharing this for those who were wondering, as I was before I tried it.

They look good. Best for indoor use.
They look good. If your using these outside the wind can trigger "motion" activation on your camera at times. I also ordered the 1/4 in bolt mount ones. For outside use these perform the best. Super stable.

The perfect mount.
I wish this came with the Arlo cameras. Alas, it doesn't. I purchased one, and it actually makes the cameras mountable like a normal security camera. I put the camera under the eaves of my house. It's a great vantage point beyond the reach of tall-ish people. Install is easy. Two screws into the base plate, screw the mount on to the plate (a 90 degree turn,) and the magnet then holds the camera at multiple angles.Keep in mind.... you can't put two cameras on the same mount and except the cameras to both work. They FIT, but they start to interfere with each other. Arlo recommends a distance of 6.5+ feet between cameras...

I wasn't happy at all with the mounts that came with the Arlo system. The original mounts you basically hang it on the wall screw like a picture frame. Felt very unsecure especially when mounted outside or when mounted under a roof like I have in the picture I put up.These new mounts you actually screw it into the wall and it can't be knocked off easily. Only thing I wasn't happy about was the small screws it came with and the price tag of it.Still gonna give it the 5 stars.I think this is very needed for the Arlo system if putting it outside and it does kinda look nicer more professionally done this way.

Works well but wish it were taller
I ordered two stands for my two add-on cameras for my Arlo Pro to serve as “cat-cams” in my living room and kitchen. The stands are sturdy and the cameras can be pointed in various directions, but they’re too short to set up on top of cabinetry with moulding. I wanted to put a camera on the top of my hutch or kitchen cabinetry and one on the top of my bookcase but due to the moulding at the top, the mount was far too low and I had to use books or something else to give them height, which I didn’t really want to do. I don’t want to drill holes in my ceiling and I don’t want my cameras on all the time, plus I move my cameras to different rooms, so there should be a stand with more height to allow for aiming around the room from the tops of tall pieces of furniture or cabinetry, which in today’s world usually usually have moulding. I couldn’t find anything else so I’m making these work and they’re good enough but I wish Arlo offered a taller mount with an optional metal “slug” to attach underneath the mount so drilling into cabinetry wouldn’t be required.
