I had to order this to replace a garbage one on a popular Chinese unit with the initials PW where the copper braid burned up because it was too thin. This will clamp easily on big tubes. Typical Lincoln quality.

Large size easily clamps 2-3 inch material. Solid copper contact points with heavy duty weaved copper strap. Perfect.

This item is the best I've used to date, it fits over 2 3/8" OD pipe, has a strong spring, both sides of the jaws are connected to the ground lug by an internal copper strap, has two ground cable holes to keep the cable in place, and feels nice and sturdy. The ground lug bolt is 1/2'' which can be be replaced with a 3/8'' or whatever size your ground lug eye is intended to use, so don't let that affect your decision.

I needed to replace the stock clamp on my Millermatic 150. This was a huge improvement. The clamp is strong, but manageable with one hand. I also liked the quality compared with the cheap stock option. I may replace the ground clamp on my other welder with this also.

I have tried quite a few clamps of this "stamped" style and this one is by far the best. Opens nice and wide, exceptional quality (for the price), and the grip area flattens out so welders with smaller hands can still grip it with one hand to open it. I use other ground attachment styles as well depending on the project but for my clamp appropriate work this is my go-to.
