The Beatles Complete - Volume 2

My husband bought me a keyboard and my first music purchase was this Beatles collection, Volumes 1 and 2. I am so glad I purchased this! Together, the set contains EVERY Beatles song (at least, I have not noticed any missing), even "I've Just Seen a Face," one of my favorite songs that no one has ever heard of. The music in this collection really ranges in difficulty in terms of notes, keys, etc. I was able to sit down and attempt some of the songs right away, but others will take a long time before I can play them as I am at an intermediate level now. Most of the songs are written to include the melody in the piano part so you can play them without a vocalist. All songs have all the lyrics written throughout, sometimes with repeats/codas, but the lyrics are incorporated into the piano part with 2 staves only. The compositions may not be 100% accurate to the recordings, but all that I've tried are quite close. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.The one downside is that each volume is several hundred pages, making it really cumbersome to use on a piano music stand. I am currently using a binder clip to hold it open and upright, but that makes turning pages difficult. At some point, I may have the books taken apart and bound with a spiral wire binding for ease of use.

If you are a Beatles fan and want ALL of their tunes in music then get this, Volume 2 has all their tunes from I to Z (actually just to Y since they never did an Z tune, or X tune for that matter).Oh, its bound well and printed on good paper. Guitar tabs are included.

I bought volume 1 and 2 and I've been using them to learn how to play piano from sheet music. I think every song The Beatles released during their time together is here. There may be a few bootlegs or songs only on Anthology are not included, but that's OK by me.I bought another Beatles songbook 30 years ago called "Beatles Complete". It was missing a few of the good, late Harrison and Starkey songs, but it had some songs they wrote for other artists that are not included in this collection.I bought these on Kindle so that I can play them from my laptop and take them with me when I travel. That works well. My only complaint is a few of the piano arrangements are difficult, clunky, or not authentic. For example, I don't think the bass part in Norwegian Wood is in the song, but it is a nice bass part.

Arrangements are very good w/ guitar chords included. Makes for very easy improvisation.

This set of Beatle’s song books Volume one & Volume two are the best available anywhere because they are perfectly correct in the lyrics, chords, keys & notes just as they were written & recorded. Excellent, excellent, excellent!

I absolutely love this book! At first I relied on it solely on piano, but the book includes chord charts on every page for rhythm guitar as well. Honestly, if you’re looking for a good beatles compilation book then you’re definitely in the right place!

前に日本の出版社のビートルズのピアノ楽譜を購入しましたが、歌詞はなくアレンジが強く原曲から離れている部分がありつまらなかったのでこれを購入しました。この本はピアノ、ボーカル、ギターで使えるようになっていて、原曲に近く満足しています。編曲者TODD LOWRY さんの原曲へのこだわりが感じられます。ビートルズの全曲は210～278曲とかいわれています。vol.1 と vol.2 であわせて数え間違いがなければ207曲あり十二分に楽しめます。

I'd initially bought Volume 1 about 25 years ago and never got around to getting Volume 2 until recently. Worth every penny.

旧版の紙の楽譜も持っていますが、非常に分厚くて、2分冊を携帯するのは不便な上、製本が良くなく、長く使っているとバラバラになってしまいます。スキャナーでスキャンしてPDF化も考えたのですが、ページ数が多くて、大変です。なので、この電子版は大変便利です。
