TRU-SPEC Boonie, Tru Digital Urb P/C R/S with Wide Brim & Loops

I was looking for a 100% cotton boonie hat and in the description, it says that this is 100% cotton. The inside of the hat says 65% Poly and 35% Cotton.The hat itself looks nice, but in addition to the incorrect product description, it's not quite what I was looking for. The brim of the hat is larger than what I was looking for - my girlfriend said it looks like a sun hat that she has. I have a Propper Boonie Hat, which I love. That brim is 2 1/2" wide, where this Tru-Spec's was closer to 4" (sorry, I don't have the exact measurements because I wasn't thinking and am writing this review after I sent it back). Because the brim is so wide, in my opinion, it looks more like a sun hat than a boonie. Also, I'm not sure if it's the material or the width, but the brim is pretty wavy, not flat. If you prefer that look and a wider brim, this may be the hat for you; it's just not what I was looking for.The overall quality of the hat looked good, but not as nice as my Propper. There was extra fabric in the back at the top, so the hat puffed out a little - not a lot, but enough to make it look a little funny.Please note that I am giving this a 2 star rating mostly because of the incorrect product description. If the description would have been correct, I would have given this a 3-4 star, based on the other things that I mentioned. Again, not a bad hat, just not what they say it is and not what I'm looking for.

I needed a hat for backpacking that would cover my ears, look good, cover most of my neck with my pack on and be a cotton/polyester mix (comfort and durability).The Tru-Spec Boonie hat has a slightly wider brim width than "regular" boonie hats without looking comical (wide brim hats just do not go well with my head) . The midnight digital pattern was very cool and the hat was comfortable on long treks.I enjoyed the map pocket on top and the draw string was strong enough to hold the hat on when the wind picked up. I will have to wash and wear a few more times before I give it 5 stars since durability nd color rention are important.

If you're looking for a well-designed, durable Boonie with mounting loops and a map pocket, this is the one!This hat is a true Boonie, meaning that it's not made of that thin nylon material that sun hats are made of. The brim has a good width to it, providing a perfect balance of shade and stiffness (some boonies have small brims that don't provide enough shade and/or are flimsy).I measured my head, selected the appropriate size, and it fits beautifully.

This hat fits my head amazingly. I have a big head and no other brands fit it well. This hat hugs my head so well that I almost hate giving it here stars. The main reason for only giving it three stars is that it’s HOT!! I mean this hat makes my head sweat man! When I’m taking my flex fit off to wear this guy that’s when it’s 90+ outside and I need some shade for my poor white face. This thing is so hot that it makes my face red from the heat.

Very upset, disappointed, and felt I go deceived by false advertisement. The Tru-Spec Boonie hat I purchased specifically stated it was 100% but that is TOTALLY false . The hat is comprised of 65% Polyester and 35% cotton !!! How could this be advertised as 100% cotton. I bought this hat solely because it was advertised as 100% cotton. Extremely unsatisfied !!!

Great Boonie! Almost Mil Spec. I should've ordered my exact size, ordered 1 up and it's just a bit to big. But still fits. Large brim keep the sun off my face and the rio stop material makes it light. Have not washed it yet so will see how it will stand up to shrinkage. has the vents on the side and the stitching is clean and holds well.

Boonie Hat fits perfectly and is comfortable to wear. Have not used the chin strap but it is there if needed. I really like the ability to fold it up and put it into your pocket so you don't loose it when riding roller coasters.PROS:- Comfortable- Easy to put in pocket for riding Roller Coasters- Can roll up an it will easily pop back into form when needed again- Has chin strap (adjustable)

True to the TRU-SPEC brand! Great wide brim boonie. The material is very soft, maybe a bit too soft though as it prevents it from being able to hold a shape as it should but I can fault the boonie for that.

Estos artículos Tru-Spec siempre son de calidad, la talla 7.25 o 7 1/4 me quedó muy bien, ya es el segundo que compro de esta marca y me gustan porque la tela es ligera tienen ojales para que circule el aire pero con el excelente detalle de que no son simples hoyos remachados, son mini rejillas de ventilación, aparte por dentro traen una pequeña bolsa en la que bien cabe un billete o algún documento, la correa que lo sujeta trae un seguro para ajustarlo a la barbilla, el ancho del ala es de aproximadamente 6.2 centímetros. llegó antes de lo esperado por Amazon a un buen precio. Muy recomendable

Cómodo, buena acalidad, de los materiales, ajusta comodo, entregado en tiempo, no tan en forma, lo dejaron con una persona de intendencia en lugar de marcarme al celular o entregarlo otro día. Fuera de eso todo perfecto y muy satisfecho con la compra.Espere algunas semanas para poder adquirirlo a un precio mas económico por lo que para mí la relación calidad precio es justa.

Excelente calidad de los materiales, excelentes acabados, el ala del sombrero es ancha e inclusive un poco más de lo que aparenta en la foto pero está mejor. MATERIALES DE USA ensamblado en Honduras, la tela es resistente y fresca, se ve muy pro, y en la parte interior en la copa tiene un pequeño bolso donde caben algunos papeles o un billete. MUY RECOMENDABLE la talla quedó precisa.

Compre este sombrero para la playa lo cual cuando lo recibí me gusto ya que la visera es mas grande de lo normal y eso hace que cubra mas del sol, el material se siente resistente igual sus costuras buena fabricación, cuenta con un bolsillo en la parte superior de Boonie como para guardar billetes o alguna ID. La talla del sombrero que pedí fue 7/2 Americano me quedo un poco grande de lo normal. le doy 4 stars por que aun no lo eh probado en campo.

Awesome boonie, fits dead on, colors are perfect. It's poly/ cotton which is better in the fact that it won't shrink after getting wet. Includes a top mini pocket to store cash or perhaps id etc. For me a 7 3/4 fit just perfect, good value for the purchase price also.
