I put it in yesterday and allotted a few hours for the project. (Removing old mirror, installing new mirror, running wire to the tail light, splicing the reverse bulb wire, installing the camera) from start to finish it took a little over an hour and that’s bc I was replacing both of my tail lights as well. Now that it’s all hooked up it works great. I was surprised by the quality of the reverse video. It was a 1 mph crash with no damage to either car. She did it on purpose and my wife got the ticket, our insurance went up, then she sued us / insurance company and the fricking settled. No more we got this dash cam for two reasons that one and we have an older BMW with no backup cam and we have young kids with a long driveway. It was very easy to set up and install and I love it, giving us so much peace of mind. This would be great for small RVs as well and go get this if you have an older car it duals as a dashcam and backup camera and the screen is terrific love the touch portion.
