Too long.... too much room..... wobbles.... not exact and falls out of connection.... not worth it!

It's ok - I tried it to adapt my plantronics work headset to plug into my iphone so I can do skype or facetime calls through my iphone with a headset. But the voice is laggy/delayed and sounds far away - so I dont know if its the iphone / adapter / headset causing that to occur.I originally bought it to convert my plantronics headset to plug into my work PC instead of the cisco phone for the same reason, but the headset picks up all the background noise so it was unusable for this purpose. Given the strong sounds that came through using that mechanism I think this probably works perfectly - just the setup i am trying to do isnt working for me personally.

The old cell phones used to use the 2.5mm plugs. So I ordered a Panasonic KX-TCA430 Headset for my wife who is stationed overseas. She later informed me that it didn't fit, it was too small. The Galaxy III has a 3.5mm plug and the headset I bought was 2.5mm. Simple little adapter fixed the problem

This did not connect to iphone 4S properly and connection to my plantronics headset was loose. so sound would cut in and out. When I gave up and tried to remove from the phone - it came apart. I had to use a pair of pliars to get it out the rest of the way from the phone. I was travelling so was unable to send it back in time for returns so it goes in the garbage.

This product is great. It allows me to use a regular in-home cordless phone headset on my cell phone just by adding the little gold adapter. I would highly reccommend this product. Works great!

The service by the vendor was fine. The problem was that I was directed to the extender as applicable to the iPhone and to the headphone and, in fact, the Female end was too small for the headphone male and the male end of the extender did not fit the iPhone hole easily...

The item is good, but you should check your specific reason for buying this. Make sure you know if you need 2,3 or 4 contact points. I needed 3, and this did not work correctly for my specific reason. I bought another with only 3 contacts. I will keep this one anyway though. I never know when I might need it. It is gold plated which is nice. The 2.5 mm female end is very small which allowed me to connect it between a very small space not much larger than 2.5mm. I liked that and it was a major factor in why I bought this exact one.The 4 contact devices are likely to be iphones and things that have Ground, Left Speaker (Headphone), Right Speaker (Headphone), and microphone. Like iphone headphones.Stereo headphones have 3 contacts: left speaker, right speaker, ground (outermost to cable)Mono Headphones have 2 contacts: speaker, groundMono sound headsets have 3, ground, speaker, microphoneSo unless you know you need 4 contacts, try sticking with 3. However the 4 contact version will likely still work correctly for sound depending on your specific usage.

The quality is good. It converts my sonicmaster from 2.5 to 3.5 to fit in the device I am using.
