None of the nodejs commands work completely anymore, or they simply do not work at all.This book seems to be IDE agnostic, it uses nodejs (which is complicated to begin with if you are a newbie) and then just runs thru steps to configure it which do not work and are not explained in any detail that might allow you to troubleshoot on your own.I have yet to find a decent angularjs book that gets you started from scratch, and web tutorials for this kind of "soup to nuts" development are equally awful (I know, shocker).I just walked thru the first chapter and have already had to do web searches to resolve errors in the book - and it still won't run the test cases. I don't expect a book to be perfect and up-to-date, and neither should the author - the book should provide a foundation for the reader so that they *understand what is going on* so that they can resolve these types of issues.Here is a tip for future authors. Pick a development environment! Don't use up pages to explain SE concepts (like MVC); that is worthless and *that* is better left to pointing us to a web page.
