Very easy to see outside
Love the size and image quality, not crazy about the image being in reverse.

Fit existing hole
My door had a movable peep in it in a large hole in door. Most peeps are a small tube. This fit perfect and the viewer is excellent. I can see my whole back yard.

Huge
It's just too big. I wanted it larger on the inside of the door so I could see better but it's even bigger on the outside of the door. We just don't care to disfigure the front door on our brand new home for the sake of this product. Returning it.

Not too sure . . .
The quality of the product is good. It does give a good image of the other side of the door, but there are several factors that I don't think are addressed in the product description. I bought this for the side door of my garage. There are no windows on that side of the house and instead of putting a window in the door or replacing the door, I decided on the Door Scope. We had one on display in a shop I worked at about 25 years ago. (Not new technology, as the package says.) It seemed impressive on a display, but not so much in real life. First of all, the image is reversed. It is as if you are looking at the other side of the door in a mirror. You can see a clear image only if you stand at a certain spot. You have to figure out where that spot is and get used to it. You cannot see things in the distance as clear as up close. So, if you expect to see who is walking down the sidewalk 30 to 40 feet away, forget it. The description says you can see clearly up to seven feet away. I think that is pushing the limit. Four or five feet is more like it. If someone is right there at your door, you can see them, and that is good. Even as a mirror image. So, the Door Scope works, but I'm not sure it is worth the price. Consider all of this before putting a 2-3/8" hole saw to your door. That size is not standard for any other alternative that I know of.

Not one-way viewing
I am very surprised that the comments didn't mention that the person outside the door CAN SEE INSIDE. Didn't anyone check? The inside viewing is not clear, but the person outside the door can easily see that someone is looking at them. One can make out the face and objects inside the room, at an angle of approximately 8 degrees of center. The product seemed like a cool idea at first, so I am giving it 2 stars. However, privacy is more important to me and I don't want the person outside knowing if there is a kid or adult on the other side, so I am returning it and keeping my original peep-sight.

Worth every penny.
Installed this on the back door of a Sonic Drive In. Easy to install and great image of the back of the building. Putting one in at my own home after this.
