I've ordered 24 of these - none have had an issue.
Decent performance for the price - definitely faster than 10k SAS drives when it comes to iOPS. Those 10k SAS could do a tad faster in sequential reads. I was getting about 1 GB / sec read on a sequential large file, but replacing those with these SSD SATA drives, I get about 700MB /sec - still good enough for what I need. But the BIG improvement is VM boots. If I have to bounce the server and boot 7 to 10 VM, this thing is done in like 30 seconds. Whereas those 10k SAS drives took 10 to 15 MINUTES.

Warning - If seller is not authorized by Micron, they will not honor the warranty
My drive failed prematurely and I thought it would be covered by the warranty. Unfortunately, the seller I used was not recognized by Micron as an authorized reseller of their Enterprise SSD products and Micron did not offer any warranty as a result. Likewise, the seller did not honor the warranty and since it was out of the return period, the seller likewise was unwilling to help. Effectively, that means the warranty is not as stated in the description, unless you purchase directly from Micron or one of their listed resellers from their website.Micron shared the below with me:"Unfortunately this drive would not be covered under any type of warranty through us and we would not be able to offer you a replacement on it. You will need to reach back out to the seller and work with them on a possible solution for you. This seller is not authorized to sell Micron enterprise products like this directly to consumers which is why they will be the only ones that can assist you further if you were promised any type of warranty on this product at the time of purchase. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns for us."

Large capacity micron drive with good life expectancy.
As far as solid state Enterprise drives go, this looks to be an affordable contender. The .8 drive writes was a happy balance for the intended use of the drive. Being micron is also a plus. As with all Enterprise hardware, do your homework. I compared Intel, hp, and the newer segate SSD. Warranty, expected life based on use and price were the main factors. At half the cost of the hp drive if was well worth it. Will update should things change.
