I was looking for a gun safe that had all three ways to open Key, Pin Code, and Biometric fingerprints and this one was it. Setup was extremely easy. I was able to register at 10 fingerprints with ease. Setting the pin code to unlock was also pretty straight forward. There is lots of foam padding inside and plenty space for my Firearm with holster, 2 magazines and a couple boxes of ammo. Construction is made of very sturdy steel. The safe is small enough to place on your nightstand or be permanently mounted with the included mounting hardware. If you are looking for a safe for your carry firearm this is the one to get.

Great design! This safe is perfect for storing a couple of firearms and protecting valuables. The safe is constructed out of heavy metal, looks good, and feels very solid. It’s very easy to program, and the finger scanning works flawlessly, usually unlocking the safe on the first swipe. 4-AA batteries are required in order that the safe be opened biometrically. Batteries are not included. Alternatively, the safe can be opened by a numeric keypad or using one of the two included keys. The bottom of the safe is padded with foam to prevent scratches. A small plastic cover located just below biometric scanner hides the key hole. Hardware is included to secure the safe to the floor or wall mount. The size of this safe is perfect for mounting under a bed, in a closet, or in the trunk of a car. Whether using the key or the biometric fingerprint to unlock, the door is spring loaded and snaps opens very quickly. To lock, you simply close the door. The user instructions are well-written and detailed, and include several illustrations. If wall mounted, it’s recommended the door face to the ceiling or off to one side to avoid the contents pouring out and onto the floor. This is a very nice safe for the money and I highly recommend it.

Bought this safe to replace the safe under my bed. I already like this one so much more than the old one. Love how easy it was to program out of the box, and love how easy it is to use. It offers three ways to unlock, fingerprint, code, or key. I really like the added security it offers by having a mode to add the four digit code, as well as your fingerprint, to unlock.

Happy with this product thus far. I do wish it had a metal cable to secure it to something. In my case, I have a closet with some brackets. It didn't advertise a metal cable, though, so I should have expected that. The only reason that I don't give it a 5 star rating is I'm going to have to figure out a way in my situation to mount it to the closet brackets, because that's where I need it to be. --- UPDATE 24AUG20: I got this around Christmas. I now cannot even get but a few WEEKS on 4 batteries before it dies, without warning! Completely useless if I ever need quick access to the gun! In addition, I cannot get a response from customer support.

The product is as described. Fairly sturdy safe at a great price. Once you figure out the fingerprint programming (4 quick consecutive “sample” prints) it works very well. The dual input mode (fingerprint+code) is an excellent feature.

If you’re looking for a small gun safe with both biometric and password options, this is it! This gun safe fits my Glock 22 and 27 perfectly. It’s sturdy and easy to operate. You’ll need 4 AA batteries. The password option was a breeze to set. The finger print set up took me several tries, but it worked. I highly recommend this safe for anyone who needs a gun safe for one or two handguns.

Solid and secure safe. The fingerprint detection works great. You MUST make sure to follow the EXACT instructions when setting a fingerprint (short press the button - not long press) . Also make sure to test with other fingers because the default is to open for ANY fingerprint! If that happens, follow the instructions carefully again. I like the trapezoid opening and the LED light so I can see inside. I added to this review after finding that since the reset button protrudes from the inside of the safe, an object placed into the safe may accidentally press the button. This wipes the finger print learned and then allows ANY finger to open it. It is not obvious when this happens and can be a safety issue, especially if storing guns away from children.

Bought this for my EDC handgun M&P 2.0 with the threaded barrel since got kids in the house, putting the firearm in a secure place and easy to access is crucial to me. This safe fit the M&P really well, I believe a full-size pistol even 1911 can fit in here without a problem. I just put two magazines in to show how big it is. The fingerprint work really well, the beeping sound is loud when you click the password, but it didn't bother me that much. It a really nice led light inside to show the gun which really impressed. Currently, I can put the safe next to my bed due to the small size, and I recommend to others if they care about their family and keep them safe.
