I've had a lot of friends ask me if there's a hardcover version of HoL. There is, and this is it! Came in fantastic condition, and went on my shelf next to my paperback copy. It doesn't have the inner cover with the pictures like the paperback, but it is full color. So, no jacket, yes hardback, yes full color. If you're a hardcover fan you'll love it!

Not much to say, its a really quality print with pretty colored text and existential horror attached, what a bargain!

I began reading House of Leaves more than a decade ago, but didn't finish until several years after I started. I still have the original copy that I "extended borrowed" from the library (I'm a sinner, I know), and I look at it every now and then fondly. The book is not for everyone. There may in fact be very few people it's really for; certainly it's gotten a lot of critical reception and innumerable people have picked it up just to put it down before the 50th page. But that doesn't mean that it should be ignored, not by a long shot. If you get the chance, I very much suggest you give it a shot. It's probably not something that'll really be a hit with you. But if it is, you'll become like the rest of us: worn copy lovingly stashed away somewhere that you can look at and remember the thoughts and feelings it dredged up within you. I don't think I'll ever read it again in it's entirety, but compared to anything else I've read, it stands above them. Maybe it's not as good as I remember, but hey, even if that's the case I got much more out of it than I expected, and so did many other people
