I think this product from Plow & Heath is a head above other cast/steel combo seats sold on Amazon. It went together well enough and there were zero missing parts or bad fitting parts. My only criticism was the lack of assembly instructions. All that came with it was a single one-sided sheet with an exploded parts diagram. It did not provide a guide on which parts to assemble first and it took some time to decide which aren was the left and right. These are the steps I found worked well not having anyone to assist.1) Put the back on one leg by resting one end of the back on the ground and the leg at an angle so the parts mate. Use your arm and leg to stabilize the parts so your hands are free to insert one of the two screws. Tighten with allen wrench but leave parts loose.2) Repeat 1) for the second screw3) With one left attached, lift the end of the back on the ground to mate with the other legs. Again, squeeze the back against your body with your upper arm so your hands are free to do the screws4) Tighten all screws but leave a mm of play5) Tip the bench onto its back6) Place seat bench into place using your foot in the middle to raise or lower it so the holes line up with the leg and insert both screws. Tighten leaving a mm of play7) Repeat 6) for the other leg8) Raise the bench to stand on its legs and tighten all screwsProsGood finish that doesn't scuff or scratch during assemblyAccurate build quality so holes line upBuild qualityConsUses washer and nut which make assembly difficult. Nice but cannot put together

This came well packed, unassembled in a cardboard box. There's only 4 pieces to put together. I did it myself in 10 minutes. Just 8 bolts/washers. The hex key is included.The finish if matte black. The chair is mostly steel square tubing. The back rest is cast iron. The assembled bench measures about 48 inches wide and 32 inches tall at the top of the back rest. Front to back is just over 19 inches. The seat height and depth is 15.5 inches. Weighs just about 37 lbs or so.I find the chair to be sturdy. I'm 6'1 and about 210 this time of year and there is no flex when I sat in the middle. There's a slight contour pulls you back into the seat a bit, very comfy. It's a nice looking chair and should hold up well. Worth the $120 that I paid.I do use the chair mostly for decoration. If you plan to put this chair in a sunny spot, the metal makes it uncomfortably hot. Best for shaded areas.

Nice bench for my courtyard. Love the Hummingbird and Flower motif on the back. Nice quality for the price. I added a colorful bench cushion and 2 small pillows. Fairly easy to assemble. I suggest having a friend at hand to help assemble it just to stabilize the bench when the other is inserting the nuts and bolts. I recommend this product. The back of the bench does not have enough arch to it ,not very comfortable when you sit down.

I bought this bench 5 years ago in January 2017. It's been out in the GA elements everyday, there's very little rust and it's only on the underside. It's still in wonderful shape!

Great bench, easy to assemble. After reading rust concerns, I painted it with Rustoleum, "lagoon" for protection, and an added POP to Our back yard living space.

After a few months, there are now visible rust spots - not pleased!

Le design est joli . Le banc est de faible encombrement et plutôt esthétique. Mais la côte de la profondeur est fausse. Ce Banc ne mesure pas 65 cm de largeur comme annoncé mais 45 cm. De ce fait , il n'est pas du tout confortable. C'est dommage ! Je vais le retourner.
