I had some sort of pest gnawing the bark off a prized Japanese Maple. I was afraid it was going to girdle the tree. I sprayed the exposed area with a grafting / pruning surfactant then wrapped with this tape and it has done an amazing job. I highly recommend this tape for these types of uses.

Use this to wrap my agar plates works great much better and less trash than traditional parafilm!

Complete waste of money. This is 3 rolls of thin saran wrap. Not strong enough to hold anything and certainly not self adhesive. Total junk.

I'm giving this three stars because it's easier to handle than a prior product I tried -- namely, it doesn't easily tangle and stick to itself while wrapping in tight quarters. That said, this isn't parafilm or "buddy" tape. It is doubtful the bud will break through for a bud graft, and so I wrap it once, including the bud, for tight protection, then return a few days later to unwrap and re-wrap leaving the bud exposed. Some buds don't make it, so I'm looking into other products. One last thing: the end tie is a bear. I've developed a method that works better than the typical single-end tie (basically, I tie both ends together. And don't pull/stretch too hard -- it will break on you. Update: you haven't lived until you've used Parafilm, truly self-adhesive tape. Yes, for whatever reason, Amazon won't ship it to places like California (so get it somewhere else!). And yes, it's more expensive, but on the plus side you only need a small piece compared to the amount of Parafin/cellophane type tape like this product here. Not to mention the "how do I tie up at the end?" question goes away. Parafilm, my friend. Parafilm.

Not self Adhesive

I am working on a fruit espallier garden and needed this tape which is stretchable. Tried many garden stores here and no one had any. Thanks to Amazon for having this in their inventory.
