Absolutely thrilled with this! As a new embroiderer I wanted a large collection of colours to start using in projects. Firstly, the value for money of these is amazing. I saw some reviews that said they didn’t receive the right amount as advertised but mine had hundreds of skeins! They’re all very strong and seem high quality. The skeins are organised in numerical order and match almost exactly the DMC shades which makes converting easy. Furthermore the range of colours is very impressive! It has vibrant hues and subtle pastels and comes in three separate packages so I’m able to easily find the perfect shade. I didn’t check the length of thread with a measuring tape but it seems as advertised. Long skeins with 6 threads that are easy to split to get more out of your bundle.

Really good price for what you get. Other reviews said very good for beginners and experts alike, just like best brand options out there but much cheaper. Huge selection of colours and shades to choose from. Length of thread is same as branded, quality is as reviewed by others, good. Nice sheen to them, well worth purchasing

I'll be honest, I didn't count how many threads there were in this pack. But I can tell you there are a LOT. They come packaged in 4 plastic bags, and are sorted by ascending number so it is easy to find specific threads. The numbers match up to DMC numbers and the colours look completely identical too. Given that a full set of DMC threads would cost about £400-£500, £35 doesn't seem too bad for this pack, and now I never have to buy another thread again! So far I haven't come across any duplicates, although it does say in the description that there will be 3 duplicates and 447 new colours. Only thing I would say is that you will probably end up having to buy more of the key colours, eg black and white, but all in all, I am so happy I decided to go for this set. Trust me, you will not regret it (apart from when you're bobbin-ing 450 threads!) Update: Have bobbined about half the threads now and have so far come across 3 colours where the thread has been cut in half and tied back together, meaning you can't use that in a piece as it would make a massive lump (see picture). For me I would still buy these again as the value for money outweighs a handful of problem threads, but something to consider if there is a colour that is essential for you.

£20 for 447 colours, I really cannot complain. The quality is good, not as good as official DMC floss but still, really great for the price. The colours seem to be a very very close if not perfect a match to the DMC ones I have too. I'd highly recommend these to anyone!

Great set of threads! Bought these as a more affordable alternative to DMC for cross-stitch, and I’m really impressed. Each thread is numbered exactly like DMC, making it super easy to match and complete patterns without hassle. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, and the quality is fantastic for the price. I’ll definitely be buying again in the future!

Good quality six strand threads with a massive 450 range of colours. No duplicates as I can see. If I'm right dmc has a similar amount/range of colours. Easy to pick and use the right colour because each skein has a dmc counterpart number on the sleeve.
